The responses could be taken from generative AI, resulting in an unnatural, stilted tone. These are easily distinguishable from a human, and may make the person asking the question feel uncomfortable or believe that they're not being treated with respect. Another option is that the writer believes that a simple, authoritative response is more likely to taken seriously, as an answer full of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes will often be dismissed out of turn. Alternatively, someone might just be fucking with you.

I've got a similar issue with a newer water efficient washing machine, it uses less water, but now I have to do multiple smaller loads with two rinse cycles and it feels like I'm not saving any water or energy at all.

When I got to where it was supposed to be, there was instead a little farm and orchard. There was a barn that opened up right onto the road, and a giant pair of red safety scissors were embedded in the barn door, jutting out over the road. There were a couple police cars parked nearby, but nobody around. I recognized this as a "scissors incident" and was a bit confused because the scissors were supposed to be a few blocks away. I wasn't very concerned, so I did a three point turn and left.

I hate bugs, and I was always a giant coward when it came to any remotely scary game. System Shock 2 kept me constantly on edge with the normal enemies, and I was just always dreading the moment a spider would show up. Is it going to be a massive swarm of tiny enemies that are impossible to escape? A giant, hallway filling monster? Then I finally saw one.
And my only reaction was "oh." That's kinda big, I guess. They're really slow and don't really do much. Some are pretty bullet spongy. The spiders in Turok 2 scared me way more. viewmaster_pi posted... eh, i also don't think arachnophobia is real. much like trypophobia, submechanophobia, megalophobia, thalassaphobia, coulrophobia, etc, i think these are social phenomena exacerbated by media, internet culture, videos and pics meant to deliberately creep you out or shock you, and people tend to glom onto these things and wear them like fun badgesThey're real, but I partially agree that these modes feel more like a trendy meme than a real accessibility option. It was a weird gimmick map where there were only a small amount of minerals in the center, and the players spawned around them. You were intended to use the minerals and your buildings as walls. Also, a unit would spawn whenever you completed a building. We were all playing Terran. I ended up rage quitting when two of my friends teamed up on me, then the fourth guy quit too.

It always warms my heart when someone asks "hey, anyone have this old, highly specific, niche meme image?" and one random guy just happens to have been sitting on it for the past 15 years and sees that post. I have a couple now deleted youtube videos, but there's nothing for me to really do with them unless someone asks.
