Hot take: Ho-oh is the coolest gen 2 legendary. Its wings and tail feathers make a cool profile, I like the red and yellow feathers, Sacred Fire and Sacred Ash are cool, and its HG fight is cooler overall than Lugia's in SS. The setting and music are both rad.

Also yay, Smeargle made it into the wild card round. Good dog.

Iirc that's why they didn't introduce the comet or a hard deadline to save the world in the first season. It allows the cast and characters to age in real time.

Thank you! It's kinda mean only actually including Yoshi's tongue, but the thought of having just that and an annoyed Mario made me laugh. And yeah, it's fun adding in little background details sometimes. Even though I only even bothered this time because I had too much dead space at the top of the canvas. Still, it was nice getting to include the message that the only thing Mario hates more than having his cookies stolen is transphobes.

Smeargle! The third and final good dog of Gen 2. I love that he's a weird little guy with a paintbrush, I love that he can learn almost every move, I love that you can literally fly across the region on a dog. He's the ultimate HM specialist and capturing expert. I love Smeargle.

And more importantly, Megalovania. For realsies though, that was really cool to see.

I was expecting it to be kind of a no-nonsense, "oh look at the diverse forms of sexuality that exist across the animal kingdom" kind of deal, but the direction they took is hilarious. The music and commentary lol. I'm sure it's an interesting watch either way.

You guys really don't see the appeal of not seeing pizza? It's like x-ray vision for one specific type of surface. You could make a robe out of giant pizza and reverse Emperor's New Clothes it out in public. You could do very specific magic tricks. And just think about how unique an experience it would be to eat invisible food. Plus 10k in Monopoly bucks?! How can you say no to that?

I always forget that you pay out in Monopoly money and I skimmed over that part in the fine print. Still, that sounds kinda cool, so I'm not upset.

For the record, I started this before that T. rex topic popped up.

I kinda thought Shuckle was a cult classic. It might not beat Scizor, but I could see it putting up a good fight and making it into wild card.

Teddiursa and the lava boys are all appealing designs, but I'll vote for the first definite pig pokeyman, Swinub. Sweet little mound.
