Having never heard the original, Beyonce's version is pretty ok, if not for a little unintentional hilarity with the lyrics. The guitar and beat part of the song is solid.

I tend to not like county to begin with so maybe Beyonce's version not sounding like the original is a plus for me.

16 and 32 is absolutely predatory. Just because people can be weird about age gaps doesnt mean we shouldnt call out actual predation.
