my grandma was a wind up toy and was chasing me throughout my childhood home trying to kill me. whenever the toy would go out, she'd politely ask me to wind it back up only for her to start chasing me again.
idk why i kept winding it up for her, but she is my grandma after all.

like, let's say I go on a date with a pretty lady. we have a few (paid for, non-electrifying) drinks, and decide to go back to one of our places. things are getting frisky until...uh oh! drank too much for things to, work. then, I will say "how about a free drink?" and get shocked. suddenly i'm revitalized and back in action with a nice beer waiting for us to share when things are done.

could i use it like that? or will i get shocked regardless of whether i want to pay for the drink or illicit substance?

sure, he can use the compost toilet in the garage. then i'd prob sell his along with a picture of him taking the shit to one of my neighbors or on the internet.

all i do is brush it 30 min a day and i'm good, and my hair is the only thing i get compliments (even hair stylists) for so there must be something to it.

nah. I liked the game a lot but it's not worth anything more than 10-15 imo.

i'm pretty biased tho. games like stardew valley, project zomboid, and risk of rain really set the bar high for the $10-20 range of indies, anything that goes higher than that better be a game I won't forget, unfortunately tunic is one of those games that are great while playing it but something easily forgettable.

i'm not really a fan of milk chocolate, or milk...so, yeah lol. i do love cacao and 100% dark chocolate so the more bitter cacao tea is more my style (I love it, anyone who likes bitter and really subtle earthy tasting drinks with a hint of chocolate will prob like cacao tea)

if I retired right now, I'd be screwed. If I retire in 50 years, I'll still be screwed.

what perks do I have after having the same insurance provider for over 10 years? Not sure yet. The closest "perk" I got was when one of their roadside assistant vehicles crashed into my parked car (they were driving to help someone else, not me)....and what do I get? A check from them for the damage....and raised rates because my car was involved in an accident.

I drink it but not daily, maybe once a week on weekends.

I'll have a cup or two of black tea in the morning and then drink green tea throughout the day, so I still consume caffeine daily but coffee just isn't my thing. When I'm having a coffee, I'll add some kahlua and bailey's to it (which is why its a weekend thing lol, I don't like coffee without alcohol)

just cus I've been on 4 dates with a girl doesn't necessarily mean we're in an exclusive relationship, I could be going on dates with other girls and she could date other people too.
if the two of us at one point say "ok, I want an exclusive relationship with you" and still go on dates, then I don't think that's considered single anymore.

like, I consider myself single, even though I've gone on 4 dates with the same girl recently (within a month we've been on 4 dates). I'm not gonna jump in and say she's my girlfriend because that hasn't even been talked about yet. I'd probably get a little jealous if she went out with another guy, but I wouldn't think "omg she's cheating" because neither of us has told the other "I want you to be my boyfriend/girlfriend and be exclusive"

I do but I don't think I will.
partly because I'm generally unsuccessful when it comes to dating and relationships, and partly because with the way the world is going, I don't think that it'd be nice to bring someone new into it.

that sucks man, I can't say for certain what is and isn't an early sign of dementia, but if it is at least you're catching it early. idk if that will make a difference long-term, from my understanding dementia can't be cured, but the decline can be slowed down.

my grandma had a really rapid decline a bit after she turned 80. she went from being sharp as a tack to not knowing where she is, and would always repeat the same questions. Like I'd stop by to mow her lawn, and she'd constantly ask why I was there, how I got there (as in, assuming I was a kid again and my mom dropped me off), and stuff like that. she'd also call my mom at very early hours, like 2-3am, and would claim to be at a hotel (she was either at her home, or my parents home while calling, so my mom would literally be in the next room) from working late (fwiw, my grandma has not worked since my mom was in college, so around 30ish years ago at this point)
now it's way worse, every time I see her she seems completely lost. she is at least aware of who my mom and uncle are, but anyone else is a stranger.

I really hope for you and your dad's sake, that it's not dementia or you're at least able to slow it down if it is.. dementia is like watching a person you love die without actually dying. it sucks and nobody should have to go through that.

it was inside my ps3. now its not, and i have no idea how. literally nobody at my house had any reason to remove it, but a game called "resistance 2" is in its place, which is odd because its a game i never played or owned.

now i have to buy a new copy, which kinda sucks cus its like $15-20. why do i need a new copy?
because i'm making a video game and i have been spending the last couple of months trying to clone the kart driving of the game.
i have crash team racing for ps1, but the kart driving isn't as fluid and my game is already a bit more "advanced" than the ps1 era, so i don't have many technical things I want to learn from that game besides the "fun" parts which aren't technical and are more of a feeling thing.

oh, so for that, you are setting the position of the sphere to the new vector3 based on current input.

in your screenshot, it is reading input, but not saying where the sphere should go
also if it has a rigidbody i'd recommend avoid using transform.position or localposition, instead rigidbody.moveposition or apply a force to move it

is it giving a compile error or not registering input at runtime? are you on legacy input or the input system? cus if you're on the input system, it'll ignore legacy input by default (although i think it should give an error, idk cus my projects are usually set to use both input handlers)

if you're on legacy, go to project settings > input manager > axes and make sure the name for both horizontal/vertical are spelled exactly how you have it written in the quotation marks inside Input.GetAxis lines

also i wouldn't recommend using strings at any place like that, cus it won't give an error if you misspell something. instead I'd use a const and fill in that instead from a static class you can refer to from anywhere, so if you misspell or its void you will get an error.
then later on, if things don't work, instead of having to go thru every single stupid way that unity decided to use strings (comparetag, i am looking at you), you only have to fix one thing rather than find which line has the typo.

you're lucky it's spring and not fall lol, they get really mean towards late summer and into fall

Wait so one thing got into the hive and killed the queen and the whole colony of bees? That's kinda crazy lol

idk what happened, like half is missing, queen is dead and a lot of workers and drones are dead in the colony.
i have very, very small colonies, of around 10k bees per colony in 6-frame boxes, and the frames are not typically full (a 6-frame could prob hold like 12k-15k bees before being too crowded), but not empty either. this time? two empty. I'm worried.
my others seem okay though, and the bee house for the mason bees seems undisturbed as well.

i want to believe they left due to some reason but the queen died so i dont think thats the case. ugh.

it can happen but not always, many of the bees in this hive have been absent the past few days so I'm wondering if they abandoned it or there is some sort of mites or something. but, i also found about two dozen dead workers in the hive, normally any dead bees are outside of the hive because they will get removed by the other bees

i really hope its not a sickness..

the good news is that my pumpkins sprouted today, so that's cool.
still pissed, I decided to start hunting for imposter bees or hornets, and found some carpenter bees in my wood pile, but they were all males so they couldn't have done any damage to my hives (male carpenter bees dont have a stinger, only the females do)

like tape you wrap around your ankles to catch ticks while you're hiking?

i was going to yell at TC For letting them die but it cant be helped against one of those japanese hornets (they're nasty as hell, decimator of hives) no protection for the european honey bee.

nah i doubt it was that, I'm in michigan and the ones that died are carniolan bees (type of western european honey bee).
i have mason bees too, but those aren't a hive insect and are really solitary/don't like to interact with other bees. they're better pollinators than the carniolans, even though they don't produce honey.

i have 3 more hives that are ok but since i dont know what it is that got into the one i have to assume they're at risk too..

i can only think of some sort of hornet but i haven't seen any this year.

something got into the hive, idk what. the queen is dead.
