one thing i really, really enjoy about the game is it slowly showing cloud gaining more and more personality

it happened in the original, too, but not very well for a myriad of reasons. in this one it's great. he goes from just being a stone wall to actually caring about people and leaning into jokes with them

i'm gonna try to not spoil much, but when you first get to the saucer, you'll be allowed to run around with whoever you have the most affinity with. this is NOT the date one, and i'm not even at that part yet myself, but if you do end up with aerith the first time around, make it a point to beeline to the chocobo racing area, that little conversation is fucking golden.

what's really fun is to ask the "it's anti-woke u mad bro" fans about the game what the game is about

there's a lot of those types of people cheerleading for this game, like a lot, because "the females" aren't "ugly" to serve some "western agenda" that they fully believe exists for some reason, and the developers fired a bunch of employees who were "reportedly" feminists (they didn't do this at all btw)

we can actually extrapolate some good key notes from this. founded in 2002, it took 8 years to reach 1 billion rentals, and then it exploded in popularity with exponential growth since 2010. if 8 years is 1 billion, they should only have gained about 1.5 more billion in the next 14, or even died entirely if we go off of your misguided attempt at trolling.
