Quite possibly the best culprit from a non-final case tbh, not counting Dahlia given her recurring role. Just loads of zaniness with quite the brilliant plot: Get convicted for larceny so he could use that as an alibi for murder.

Fun defendant that doesn't make a lot of sense, but that just adds to the mystique. It's great that he goes to the lengths he does for his wife.

Desiree: 8.5
Absolutely great "dream girl" type of character - she's both hot AND nice, but her flaws are still showcased, namely her extreme level of high maintenance and being a bit oblivious. Very realistic portrayal but Ron landed a real winner nonetheless.

Bullard: 1.5
Yeah, he's almost to "just a body" levels, but he did enough that he's not in that tier.

And yes, the designs of Atmey, Ron, and Desiree are all top-notch, and considerably better than those in the next case.

Would be interesting if there were two different story paths, and you chose Bay or Bae at the start of the game. And each of those story paths went down the same route but in remarkably different ways for the reasons Roba already said. Like... with the Bay ending, Max probably stays in Arcadia Bay, graduates school, and has a successful, but somewhat hollow, life. With the Bae ending, she and Chloe go on a road trip and she probably gets a following on Instagram with all her cool photographs, and by the time of this game, she and Chloe are engaged and preparing for their wedding. If she's in the same place either way, just with different dialogue and relationships (Chloe vs. a different significant other)... it could work, but that would be a MASSIVE undertaking. It's like two entirely different stories that only have some threads in common.

So having two different places she's at in life won't work. I'd think people will be pissed off no matter what. They can't simply make one ending canon when people are so divided over it. That said, I'd think Max would have chosen the Bae ending in that moment. Even if it's not the right thing to do, it's what her heart was set on. And that was what made that ending so compelling: Do you go with what's right, with what Chloe is telling you to do, or do you go with your heart?

I don't expect this game to be a winner. LIS1 was simply something that shouldn't have a sequel, and it's why they did a prequel and then two games with other protagonists set in the same universe. Coming back here is asking for trouble.

Yeah, the aforementioned Kwik Trip pizzas are refrigerated take-and-bake also, though they'll bake it for you if you ask (or they ask). However, the way I interpreted that comment as talking about a grocery store thing. Which I've never seen before. Kwik Trip doesn't let you pick your own toppings and all other grocery stores I know of won't, either.

We have Papa Murphy's here as well but I don't go there very often. It's not as conveniently located to me as I'd like. There was one pretty close at one point but its management was so atrocious that it closed. Kwik Trip is much closer and just as good.

But, like Reg, there was one right by us when I lived with my parents. We only got from there like once a year though.

I was expecting a pretty average episode going in and I really enjoyed this one!

Once the Doctor said that he'd set the transporter for six humanoids, I figured that Emily was, in fact, a monster in disguise. There was nobody else it could have been, and that resolved Ruby's inadvertently teaching her future slang in a different way than I'd first expected (aka a lecture from the Doctor, but how can Ruby be expected to behave like that? Even if she read Austen to prepare, it's hard to change how you speak.) My Who Crew knew it was the real Ruby who'd pulled the wool over the owls' eyes. Still really enjoying Ruby. She's been on a huge upward trend these past few episodes.

The Rogue/Doctor tension quickly going from a rivalry to a romance was... interesting. I certainly am of the belief that Rogue will return for next season; he seems to be a replacement for Captain Jack who's less of a sleazeball (and his actor isn't a dick either).

Did not want to think as deeply about this one as I did Dot and Bubble, which I enjoyed less the more I thought about it.

Yeah, for me it was the late 90s through like 2001. Everyone had a lot of fun with it every summer. We had a pretty good yard for it at the time (at least until some trees died and we sold our playground equipment). A lot of us outgrew it eventually.

Glad I wasn't the only one to experience that. Was really a huge part of my childhood. Would recommend it 100% to anyone. Also happy to hear your kids are having a blast with it!

All the fucking time. We had a bunch of kids in our neighborhood over when I was in like 4th to 7th grade (something like that) just to play it. Lots of fun!

I have no idea why the hell Swan is on that list. I also think Dan Foley is a weird choice - he made it far because he was actually liked after recovering from his gaffes day 1! Also, Brandon was... actually a pretty good player in South Pacific. Multiple Upolu people said he could have actually won it all had he not lost his mind and given Albert immunity. Yes, I know that may surprise you.

Big Wendy and Zane are 100% deserving of being on such a list though.

Also missing: Jacob Derwin and Jelinsky.

No, in fact this has made me LESS interested in ever watching the WNBA. Let's go over a few reasons:

• Caitlin Clark played for my least favorite basketball team, college or pro. Fuck Iowa. Fuck Iowa fans.
• The way the other players are treating her is abhorrent, as if they're jealous of her fanbase and all the attention she gets. There may be racism involved in this as well.
• The whole media circus is more than enough for me.

Granted, my interest was obscenely low to begin with, as I don't have a team. But now, even if there is one, I don't want to watch something where the players are that toxic.

I never got too far in either Hyrule Warriors game so I don't really remember much about her there. Sure, she's great in Skyward Snore, but that is the worst Zelda game I've played and it's pretty obvious that she and the old lady are one and the same when you go back in time there. BotW Impa is likable enough but underutilized. In the other games I've played, she was "just there" as Squirrel said, so... I guess I gotta go with...

Last match was brutal. I've used all of those and kept with them.

I brush my teeth before going to bed and feel bad in the extremely rare instance I miss a night. You don't need to brush more than once a day if you have an electric toothbrush; I've been told by multiple dental hygienists that my teeth are self-cleaning so long as I keep that up.

Yeah, about "Dot and Bubble" as said above...

My Who Crew pretty much agreed that the message, in addition to the obvious of not letting social media and AI literally consume you, was speaking out against social media groupthink validating prejudices of like-minded bigots. We all noticed how White the bubble folks were, but agreed that it was not just "White people bad" - as that too is racism. Ruby is White too and she behaved reasonably, whereas Lindy was a vile piece of shit.

That said, the more I think about it, the less I like the episode. Like I don't understand how Lindy could barely walk at one point and ten minutes later she's completely able to fend for herself. And I don't understand how these people thought they could "survive in the wilds" on their own when they'd had AI running their lives. I also don't get why the Doctor offered Lindy Tardis passage... like did he not notice what a cretin she was? Doesn't feel in-character for the Doctor, who's usually able to pick up on that.

I too felt Ricky September was almost too perfect and was pretty surprised by that plot twist, though, that it was Lindy who we should've been concerned about. Was very interesting to have the episode told from the POV of its villain. The way she sold him out to save herself was creepy - I mean, yeah, I don't blame her for wanting to survive, but knowing his real name and not the name on his profile was just trashy. She really was this irredeemable character.

But yeah, at the end of the day, this just wasn't my cup of tea.

I really enjoyed five of these. That middle tier is all extremely close to each other and changes based on what I'm thinking about, particularly regarding "The Devil's Chord".

"Wild Blue Yonder" would be in the top tier, probably in second, and "Star Beast" would be in the bottom tier because of how badly its cringe-inducing ending ruined it.

Anyway, I'm also seven episodes into Eccleston - I've been distracted by Rebirth quite a bit - and it's been... okay so far. "Dalek" was easily my favorite episode. The others have been... fine. I'd think at that point that RTD was still figuring things out. I've already seen "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances" - those were also better than most of the RTD-written offerings in this season. I also liked "The Long Game" because it was pretty complex, Rose actually... showed some intelligence at the same time she showed utter stupidity, Simon Pegg was the villain, and how zombie Suki/Eva was still cognizant enough of the goings-on to complete her mission. I know the season really picks up with "Dalek" and I can already tell. Very curious about what "Bad Wolf" really is...
