Now that the Lakers have Nash, and the Knicks just got Kidd. The Knicks are probably going to match the offer to keep Lin. Which sucks for the Knicks, but is good for Lin. One of the reasons Kidd even came over was probably because of Lin in the first place.

I've been doing some marathons recently

Completed All of Full Metal Panic (including Fumoffu). The mecha series were pretty good, but Fumoffu was amazing.

Also beated Dance in the Vampire Bund, because Shaft. I uhh, I liked the show up to the end of episode 7, and then I became upset and confused at the direction.

Then I beat Ga-Rei zero. How did I miss this?

Up Next: Hayate the Combat Butler and Shiki.

No, he's like an odd mix of Homer and Moe. I generally don't like the show that much since I'm not a big fan of sight gags and sci-fi/Twilight Zone references that pretend they're real comedy. That being said I do like Zapp Brannigan and Hermes though.

Here are 3 of the ones I really liked.

2. You do 3 porn videos. 1 vanilla, 1 group, and 1 random. The random one can not be mutilation or beastiality, or anything illegal. However, other genres are fair game.

Copy Creation
Rangh has the ability to fully copy an object/being he completely scans. A summoned object will be an exact copy (including magic), but a physical one will only have physical properties. So he can copy a fire demons fire, but if he copied a magical sword he would just get a normal sword.

Summoning
Rangh has the ability to summon the following creatures.
1. Elemental Sphere
-A 1 foot diameter ball that can float through the air. It can move at 3x the speed of sound, but can only move within 10,000 feet of Rangh. It can fire out blasts from all types of elements. The strongest being roughly the the strength of an explosion that can destroy an average house. It can fire off them quickly and defend itself with elemental barriers. It is highly resistant to magic, but if a physical attack breaks through the barriers it is rather frail. Their offensive power is exponential if they combine their powers.

2. Barton The Master Swordsman
-A warrior around the same age as Rangh (in physical terms). He has honed his skills to be an exceptional swordsman. He has mastered the weapon form of all types of swords. He is weak magically, but his armor can deflect blows with the power of a small bomb. If multiple swordsman are summoned their defensive power is exponential.

3. Mysterious Cat Girl Nyah Nyah
-Random anime styled catgirl. She is extremely fast and flexible able to twist her body in seemingly impossible directions and make attacks (think of it if vlado become proficient with Ivy's Sword whip). She is an all offensive type and has no defenses to talk about other than her dodge skills. She can make non combative copies of herself.
At max Rangh can have up to 7 copies+summons active at one time. He can dismiss them at will. Actual summoning/copying takes 5 seconds to happen, but the cast is instant and he can move around while he is waiting etc.


Fusion
Rangh’s signature technique. He can fuse with anything he wishes. Fusing with a nonliving object causes him to take on physical properties of the object. So fusing with a sword can make his body sharp as blades, fusing with a bow will allow him to shoot arrows from his arms… etc.
If he fuses with a living being the creature must either agree or be unable to refuse the fusion. Once fusion takes place it cannot be broken unless Rangh allows it. Fusion with a living being does not change Rangh’s physical properties, but instead gives him the abilities of the creature he fused with. Fusing with a water elemental would give him water powers, fusing with a swordsman would give him sword proficiency (and a sword). The more powerful the being the more the fusion helps Rangh. Assume that while fused Rangh’s use of the power he gained is much stronger than it would be if the creature had used them. His combat benchmarks are also increased in proportion to what he fused with. He can only fuse with one target at a time. Fusion is instant. Defusion takes a second to complete. In this time Rangh cannot take any action. Fusion requires physical touch. A living defused being is considered to be destroyed.

Other Powers
Rangh can teleport freely within a radius of 1000 feet. His actual physical movements are average. After teleporting he cannot do so again for about half a second.
He can construct magical barriers capable of stopping medium sized bombs. The barriers are also able to protect against magical attacks of a stronger nature.
Rangh is able to cast telekinetic spells to the extent where he can lift a car into the air with ease.

Rangh The Fusionist
Final Version
Rangh is a man who is physically in his early 30s, but has lived for much longer. His actual age is unknown, but it can be assumed he's at least 500,000 years old. Because of this it is generally assumed he cannot die through natural means. He enjoys finding new challenges and will occasionally push the envelope.

Powers
Mental Extension
Rangh has the ability to extend his being into another creature/object with any level of cognitive function. Rangh must be aware of the presence of the creature in order to start an extension. He maintains full control of his original body while he is extended. This has a range of 10000 feet.
There are three levels to his extension

1. Observation
In this mode Rangh will simply record information from the target. He will learn everything the target knows about its personality and abilities. Including things like its fears, likes, physical properties, and so on. He does not learn the targets immediate thoughts (mind reading). It takes a minute for him to gain all the information on the target, regardless of the amount of information the target holds.
Rangh must transmit information he gains in this mode to his original body from his extended mind. He can choose to send as much or as little information as he wishes. Sending it while maintaining the extension causes requires him to stop all magical activities for 0.25 seconds. If he decides to leave the host it becomes immobile for 1 second (but still able to cast). He can Observe as many targets as he wants, but his downtimes stack (so if he sent 2 information packets he would have to stop magic for half a second, etc). While a target with enough mental power can realize Rangh is recording information, they cannot do the same thing to him.

2. Persuasion
Once Rangh has gained all the information on a target he can attept to persuade them. He will do this by analyzing their personality and tendencies. He cannot make them do anything they are physically or magically unable to do. The farther apart from something they would likely do the less likely persuasion is going to be successful. However, he can abuse things like a target having self-doubt, being over-aggressive, or similar trait. The more times he attempt persuasion on the same target the harder it is for him to succeed. The max amount of times he can persuade any target is 5 times. If he fails twice he is forced to leave the target, during this time he is immobile for a second.


3. Domination
If Rangh has successfully persuaded a target to the point where he feels comfortable he can attempt domination. If successful he gains complete control of the target and all of its functions. Success is determined by the targets mental condition. While attempting domination Rangh must be constantly concentrating leaving him immobile and unable to cast other spells. He can only dominate one target at a time.
A target can break out of any of these by overloading the targets mind somehow, destroying the target (unsummoning works), or in the case of domination, breaking Rangh’s concentration somehow.

Mastery of Objects
He is able to scan a nonliving object in the same way he is a living on. Scanning takes 30 seconds and he learns the objects physical properties such as how much damage it would do, how much it would protect the target, and so on. He must be continually scanning the object (can’t cast spells). It is not required the object remains visible, but it must remain in his general vicinity (10000 feet).

Rangh Have up to 7 summons active at a time (he can summon multiples of the same one). A summon takes roughly 5 seconds to materialize. It can not be attacked or attacked before this.

Rangh can only fuse with one target at a time. If he chooses to break fusion the other object/being is simply "split apart" from him. This has no effects other then losing the powers of the fusion. Defusion takes roughly a second. Fusion takes place instantly. During defusion Rangh can not use any defensive skills during defusion (but his summons can cover for him)

Mastery of Mysterious Objects
Rangh can more or less "scan" items in the same way he does a cognitive being with his Observation skills. It takes him 30 seconds of scanning to get all the information on an item. During this time he must be constantly scanning (which means no attacking/defending). Again his summons can cover for him. Once he has scanned an object he can make an exact copy with the same powers at 25% of the strength. He can fuse with this object.

More on some of his powers
He can enter stage 1 transmission with as many targets as he wishes. But keep in mind that if he chooses to transmit information back to himself his magical defenses fall for a fraction of a second, and this stacks. He can only go to stage 2 and 3 (persuasion and domination) with one target at a time.

He can erect powerful magical barriers capable of deflecting medium sized bombs.
He can teleport

Anjori
Sound Attacks
1. Intricate does not mean energy consuming. Her stun lock techniques expend very little energy. However, they do very little actual damage in return and are more of a tactical measure.

2. She can cancel out other sound by sending out a equalizing sound wave. She is adept enough at this to cancel out the spoken voice. She must constantly emit to maintain this and it will cut into her other power very slightly (10% or so). The closer she is to the target the better the effect. If the target is within 10 feet there is no negative effects for Anjori.

3. She can shatter solids by finding the correct frequency (much like with a glass). Some solids that are very elastic in composition will not break, but will experience some effects. The closer she is to the object the better the effects. She is also able to find the exact frequency needed if she comes into physical contact with the object.

4. She is able to track by sound.


Light Attacks
1. She can only fire one beam at a time. However, she can fire them in quick succession.

2. She can illuminate herself enough that she is actually very difficult to impossible to see because of the glare. Doing this takes away from her light attack intensity. She can do this without raising the temperature.

3. Her eyes are naturally accustomed to seeing in all levels of light.

4. She can see in Infrared, Visible, and X-ray

5. Her light must travel in a beam or sweeping wave type motion (it does not instantly appear at the enemy location like a fire magic spell). But they do travel at the speed of light given there is no outside influences.

Other
Her Hula hoop is designed with 9 reflective mirrors. The entirety of her hoop is made to have a melting point higher than her light attacks so she can use it to redirect her attacks and use it as a sound based medium at the same time as described earlier.

She is immune to radiation, and is highly resistant (if not immune) to most normal diseases since she constantly emits radiation. She does not turn into the hulk.

Added: I honestly got kinda bored of editing near the end which is why there isin't any. I don't know if this was intentional, but there is some clear PoV when you switch from character to character (which is common in a lot of novels), so good job with that. I'm not fully convinced with Espernanza's transformation, it seems too sudden as her reaction and thought process showed no signs of changing throughout the entire story.

You do a good job with character background and fleshing them out, but both lars and the villain seem a little typical of their character types.

Pretty good job overall.

This one is longer, so I'll do something special for this one and make edits to the story (with input to why I did the edit at each point). Doing it this way is easier then a general write up. But it'll take longer. I typically only work on this at school so the write up will be late, but you'll get it (and it will be pretty detailed)

3 and 4 were close. 3 is technically written very well, but could be fleshed out a bit more. Gen's is a good idea (she also uses a PoV style which is seen in a lot of novels, I'm not sure if this was intentional), but was not as polished as Chris's.

Also, responding to Chris's critique of mine

"surveys" was supposed to indicate something like "looked with intent" or "look and scanned" .
Cutting thoughts short is probably something I do often. I typically write screen plays (I'm a film student) and doing things like that are common as I often have to micro manage length)

I agree that I could have done more with vincent. He was supposed to be that way to sort of "trick" the victim, but that got lost along the way.

alright, so if i'm understanding the Marks right on him, if the person meets the criteria stated there he can choose to "Mark" them without any indication and use one of the powers. the only thing i've got left is a wording issue:
"There is a 0.5 second delay between changing marks (so a half a second time where a target is not marked)."

that can be read two ways. the way i initially did was that .5s is needed to change the mark on a target. therefore during that .5s, it's still using the same mark as before.

the other is that if you're changing marks, one will end, half a second minimum needs to pass, and then the other can be applied.
It's the second one. To be clear he can "cast" the next mark but it will not take effect for half a second.
