Good morning!

Gonna bump, since I'm heading to bed

Ha. Same situation, out of power and could be out for a week. I'm lucky enough to be on vacation at the beach (with power, AC and running water!) until this upcoming Saturday. It was horrible yesterday and most of today. Just so hot and there's nothing you can do. Sleeping was just painful.

I swear one day I'm going to run one of these and it will be the greatest thing ever.

As long as that day is "one day" and not "today" or an exact date in time like "July 27th, 2012," it will almost certainly never happen. Not only do they require a lot of work to put together; they require even more work to actually run properly.

There's a lot of truth to this. Emotional Dreams didn't fully come together till I got a kick in the butt and really got focused on finishing everything. Many, many hours preceding the weeks before the war were spent toiling away getting everything done correctly and well, I have a lot to be thankful for regarding all the things, factors and help that bought the war together. And once it gets going, you'll spend a ton of hours just thinking about the war during the day, wondering about the moves people will make, how you'll manage to get every story update out before the deadline for the moves, making sure that every single status update is perfectly done. It's a hell of a lot of work, but it's an experience I wouldn't take back.
