There's something called.... the unofficial bug fix patch (or something) and i think that's the main one. there's also one that boosts the graphics i think (better looking morrowind?)

I guess a lot of the party members do annoying things... I was having trouble remembering what Aeris did, but it was the series of preventable events that let up to those spoilers.

i used to think it made me kind of a misogynist that i found all of the female party members (plus cait sith) to be pretty annoying, but then i realized it was just lol japan/lol square writing.

i probably liked aeris best at first.

can't tell what kind of game this is exactly. started off looking like assassin's creed, but potentially too many super powers for it to really be in that category. might be more of a shooter type thing.

well yeah i wanted to gag when i saw the concept art of some of the characters i was already accustomed to, but if they had been that way from start to finish it could be great

The initial season(s) can be great as long as you can maintain your suspension of disbelief. When the show first came out I had a feeling it was all bullcrap/smoke and mirrors, and therefore couldn't get into it.

I ended up being right (evil cackle).

I imagine it would be difficult to ignore the fact that there's no substance behind the actions in the first seasons when you already know that canonically there is none...

I tried frozen synapse at one point. I'm not sure if I would consider that style what I was thinking about, but then again I'm not sure what would really fit! That seemed more like telling everyone explicitly what to do, but just doing it all at the beginning instead of on the fly...

I completely forgot about Kingdom Hearts! The meat of the gameplay was in Sora's actions, so I kinda forgot that Donald and Goofy did anything :P And I guess Dragon Age did have a FF12 system...

Maybe I should just try to make one, where you program lil robots to go dungeon delving without knowing exactly what they're going to run into, like mars rover adventurers or something. The key would be programming them to be able to navigate a random or non-pre-set environment... so you can't 'hard code' things

@people saying that's not very many expansions

blizzard typically releases at least 2 'patches' a year that have as much or more content than a typical expansion in everquest. this comes as part of your monthly fee rather than paying for a new expansion
