Are we required to vote for only games we've played in all these categories? FOR EXAMPLE, I haven't played Uncharted 3, but based on the media exposure I've had to it, I can clearly see it's visually superior to most of the games I've played this year.

I disagree with the complaints about the lack of exploration. I always felt like I was exploring in this game, whether in the sky or on the surface. The complaints about "linearity" also confuse me. It's never a straight line to get from Point A to Point B in this game. You've always gotta think, solve puzzles, and do new things to simply gain access to the dungeons. Do any of the world maps look like straight lines to anyone?

It's not that the areas are literal straight lines, but within each area they do funnel you towards a particular direction in most cases. Yes, you're solving puzzles along the way but you don't really have much of a chance to deviate from the path of "okay I have to solve this puzzle to get to the next part of this area".

Skyloft allows a little bit more freedom there, but hardly any of it is actually worth exploring as most of the islands are just rocks.
