No.

It's just that I'm pretty sure Water will take the longest, it has a bunch of my favorite pokémon encompassed in it, and it's the best of the three starter types and I'm the kind of person who likes saving the best for last.

*thinks* Squirtle, yes... Totodile, yes... Mudkip, never used, but I like Treeko and his evos better, whom I also didn't use, lol... Empoleon, I guess so... and... no otter... snake dude better

5) Rapidash

The dark horse (literally) of this competition. It's done great, but I can't see it lasting more than two more rounds.

4) Typhlosion

Not Gen 1. It has no hope. It's position is also interchangeable with Rapidash's.

3) Charizard

There is a fairly strong camp that doesn't want Charizard to win. And miracles do tend to happen in these things. Plus if it gets past the next two rounds, it's essentially riding a nonstop train to #1ville, because casuals ride Charizard's jock like there's no tomorrow.

2) Arcanine

My favorite pokémon, let alone my favorite Fire type. It always performs well, but always falls just short of glory somewhere along the line. This competition will be no different I suspect.

1) Ninetales

I'm actually shocked Ninetales has been performing so spectacularly. Here I was thinking Vulpix was the more popular of the Fire foxes. It usually fares just under Arc in popularity, but its appeal seems to have spiked for this particular contest. I definitely can't see Typhlosion or Rapidash getting the upper hand on it, but maybe (just maybe) Arcanine or Charizard could.

I agree with this list, I would prefer Arcanine to go over Ninetales (finally spelt right)... but, as I see it, more people support Ninetales

Also, I don't know why I haven't been doing this... I've loved Ninetails all the time, which is why I'm so mad at the game designers for never giving good moves to it...

The only reason they are this fast are because of the board... those that complain about the speed of rounds only do so because we remember when it took nearly a full day to be completed

I honestly just don't like a middle going on... especially since it's still going beyond Typhlosion, no matter what in the next round... Either way, Final two will be horrible, since I already see it as Ninetails and Rapidash, which Ninetails has no good moves and Rapidash... just sucks

If you don't know the difference between Snover and Snorunt, I doubt you want to save either of them. Stop complaining, you're literally the ONLY one who feels this way.

If you don't know the name of Snover but know the name of Abomasnow, then just Google Abomasnow and the first or second link should give you information on that Pokemon and what its pre-evolved form is. It wasn't the issue of not knowing the name of Snover, but mixing up him and Snorunt... which doesn't take Googling one or the other, it was thinking one was the other...

Which, because you think you're right, you don't look it up, and vote for the one you think is that one, which turns out you voted wrong, but didn't know you did...

Actually, it doesn't take 2 secs for a search engine... Not even Serebii would be that fast... I don't know why people think Google answers everything you ask it... As well, how can I google the name of a Pokemon I don't know the name of...


Plus, it's easy to keep track of where anything is in Generation order, if you want Gen 3, you generally look to the middle, Gen 1 (top), gen 5 (bottom), Gens 4 and 2 aren't hard to find...

meanwhile, this way you have to look for individual names, which takes twice as long because you look down the line for the starting letter, rather than just looking at a general area

Not all the time... Example: I mix up Snover and Snorunt 24/7... yet I'd know perfectly which is which if I saw Snorunt in 3rd gen and Snover in 4th Gen, would I remember by name? No. I would remember by seeing Abomosnow after one and Glalie after the other

and for another... this time a later contest... I don't know the name of the middle evolution for Serperior... do I want to look that up? No. Would I forget to vote for him if I don't see him in between Snivy and Serperior? Yes.

You think people memorize every Poke?

Yes I'm capable, but it's far easier and faster to scan through a neat, alphabetically-organized list than actively searching a list of 50+ organized only by gen until I see a favorite or lack thereof. Not to mention when we do Water, there're going to be over twice as many

Neat? When the pre-evos go after the fully evolved? This isn't Kindergarten, I know my Alphabet... I'd rather look through a list where the evolutions are next to each other so if I specifically like one line of Pokemon, I don't have to look for 3 names separately...
