Um, for a complete newbie, I'd basically just focus on starting hands. If it's just listed as a poker social event, more than likely, it's Texas Hold 'Em. Really, my main piece of advice would just be to go have fun. If there's no money involved, who cares how you do? If you really want poker advice, I could give you some, but I don't really think your situation warrants it.
This was my first delve into Captain Falcon's universe, prompted pretty much solely by SSB. I'm glad I did, or I would've missed out on some fantastic games. While I spent a lot of time completing races, I probably spent even more time on the Death Race. I got pretty damn good at killing people, and it was also more fun to me. Upon purchasing GX, I was pretty upset that they took the mode out, but considering its non-appearance so far, you can probably tell how much I missed it. In fact, after playing GX so much, I tried going back to X. It's seriously nearly impossible. Besides, there were better racing games that generation, hence its somewhat low ranking.
194. The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition - 360
I had never played any of Guybrush Threepwood's games until they re-released it for 360. I decided that this point was as good a time as any to start. Now I wish I would've been aware of the games a long time ago. I wasn't too into it until I started swordfighting. That was when I realized I was playing something special, and it didn't let up until it was over. Definitely an overlooked adventure game.

After she said that, she started rambling on about the case and all the circumstantial evidence, but I was late, and had to hurry up or I was afraid I wouldn't make it in time, so I wasn't really paying attention. The only thing I got out of it was that she had definitely read up on the case, which is more than I'm willing to do.
From: Rad Link 5 | #079 Why are you even responding to SephG? He's just trying to get under people's skin.
Probably not actually. I was reading this topic a bit before going to a poker tournament, and as I was leaving, my mom saw the news and responded with, "Wait what? You've got to be kidding me! Just kill him already!"
I asked what she meant, and she told me it was obvious he was the one that did it and to just get it over with. B8 isn't the only place opinions are shared, and of course an overall leftist message board is going to be on the other side of the argument. It's like it's taboo to have a differing opinion.
I don't give a **** either way, though I can't believe I'm defending SephG. Anyway, carry on.
I'm saying the tournaments altogether were rigged. As in, every bot knows pre-flop which hands their cards will win. And that's why the hand plays out as it does.
Not sure if this ties into anything, as it never explicitly mentioned anything about it in the article, but as an individual who had used their services, in retrospect, it definitely seemed like it was rigged. I couldn't have counted the number of times someone's aces were busted by someone with something ridiculous like 3/7 off-suit, who had no business being in the hand. I tried the thing twice, only playing the low-stakes games, and both outings ended quite abruptly, leaving me with nothing in my account.
At this point, I decided to try PokerStars, where I played for a good 8-10 months, ending with a balance more than I had deposited. I hadn't gotten that much better as a player; I had simply not gotten screwed over in situations that should have never come to be.
Also, between April 2007 and April 2011, various owners and directors of Full Tilt collected $444 million dollars from the company for themselves, the government alleges.
So with this statement, it wouldn't surprise me at all if those players with those 3/7 hands were actually bots run by the owners and directors to funnel money into their own accounts. That's just my two cents, anyway.

Right, I was just oblivious to the way the contest worked. This is actually the first time I read past results, to see how it worked, and the format of the contest has been duly noted.
If any of you guys were here for the first topic, you'll remember the babysitter a bunch of my friends had, whose kids would all play her N64. Most of her games sucked. This one did not. Since we only had three controllers, and a bunch of kids, we established a "Last place gives up the controller" rule. This was of course a scam. My buddy Chris or Jeremy and I would find some mines, camp in a small system of corridors (though always make it look like we're running around) and wait. The unsuspecting third player hits our mine, we laugh, and continue playing, while they get mad at us. Classic.
196. Assassin's Creed II - 360
I think I was just really tired of the AC formula by the time I picked up AC2, because I really don't understand how it's THAT much better than AC1. It introduced some new weapons, and I like Ezio a hell of a lot better than Altair, since he actually keeps the story fresh for longer, but the overall presentation is pretty much the same. It's been a year or two since I've last played it, but I know every main assassination followed a very static pattern of missions. Finally, the big kill would change things up a bit. But I did the same thing in AC1, so I don't see why everyone else thinks it's so much better.
Honestly, the only reason I have this game higher is because of the tombs. Those were easily the best parts of the game, and some of the best platforming in gaming, imo.

I want to play this so bad, but when I downloaded it, it had an error producing the background, and when I was on the overworld, I was forced to walk around by sheer luck. Every time since, I've encountered the same problem, and have no idea how to fix it.

I've played every single Mario Kart, and hardly ever been disappointed, I think Baseball is actually underrated, though Strikers was only OK. It's just that Golf and Tennis are so ****ing good, why would you ever want to play anything else?

Almost done with my 26-hour work weekend, then I have two tests to study for Monday. I should be in a good enough mood by the end of that day to post something.

There are a few out there, so I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is it, because I distinctly remember him completely destroying the Great Bay Temple, and he certainly does that here.
Sun and I have been doing some runs of Crater Interior on Very Hard, hoping for a V101 drop. We still might do some if we get some more on. It's a tad difficult with just two of us.
