So, Arlecchino aside, the other banner characters for the next patch really aren't must pulls, are they? Easily skippable, I'm assuming?

Arlecchino herself is questionable, wait and see.

Lyney is a strong mono pyro nuker, primarily single target but can also compress his whole kit into a very powerful frontloaded burst of damage with AoE.

Wanderer is underwhelming, but some people really like his gameplay.

Baizhu is a great healer for Furina teams and a powerful Quicken healer. Can be pretty niche otherwise. Xianyun would be a better choice.

Generally, we have so many different strong pyro onfielder dpses, each with their own niche, pick 1 or 2 and ignore all others.
Like Diluc or GaMing for plunging if you have Xianyun. Like Klee+Furina for a powerful easy to play forward vape team. Like Yoimiya if you enjoy brainless button mashing (demands very high investment and is awful in AoE situations), Hu Tao for meta. Yanfei can be fun for her simplistic playstyle.

I still haven't found the time to play Atelier Lulua, I should get to it someday.
And Firis, and LySue, and Sophie 2, and Ryza Trilogy...

The time limits pretty much completely stopped mattering from Ayesha on (super generous), especially Escha (almost impossible to fail).

Even the strictest one, Totori, gives you a good amount of free time as long as you understand the fact that grinding enemies is extremely inefficient and pointless.

I'm a big fan of pre-Ryza Atelier games and iirc Mihyo shamelessly stole this system from Atelier Sophie (minus all depth). So I generally enjoyed the event gameplay.

Why? It's a given that having more things to calculate would slow your PC down.
But yeah, they did go too far with the AI if it becomes that bad.

I never really found a use for Wanderer, ever. I'd just use Kirara for her superior climbing skills in very tall mountains, Kazuha for short climbs, Yelan C1 for flat ground...
...and now Xianyun C0 does all that with her skill.

Seems Arlecchino's charge hold ability is pretty much the same thing as Mona's alternate dash, except Arle hovers over the ground and you can still dash normally.

So...Arlecchino's charge attack just power crept Wanderer.

Wait till you hear about the new Weekly boss. Leaks claim it's Arlecchino with 2 Scythes?

It's mostly a very linear tunnel so it's not too hard to navigate it until you have the collectible tracker unlocked.

Overworld is definitely very hard to explore however.
