Yes, it's worse on Genshin... to the point that I have to use a specific controller to play it since the other one, which has no issues with any other game, drifts so much that I can't even change my party because my onscreen character will start walking while the party screen is loading and cancel it.

Just wondering

In a Rational team, what could be a good replacement for Xiangling? I have her but compared to Raiden, C3 Bennett, and C4 Xingqiu, she's definitely the weakest link at C0 - her ult takes too long and it just doesn't last long enough

I've been using a C2 Sara but I'm wondering what else is good. Should I just replace XQ with a C3 Chevreuse and just go full overload?

Genshin's walking is so sensitive that even the smallest drift will make your character start moving on their own lol

Yeah, with Chev an overload team will be pretty strong.

I did about 60 pulls on Kazuha, got four Xingqius, FIVE Barbaras, but not a single Yanfei :(

She's my main so :(

Yeah that's common. For like a year my only standard banner 5 star was Jean. Then about halfway through the Inazuma patch cycle I got Qiqi. And Mona came just after Sumeru, Diluc a few months after that. I finally got Keqing pulling for Lyney in 4.0. No Tighnari, and the only reason I have Dehya is because I pulled on the limited banner for her.

So right now I think it's:
C5 Jean
C2 Qiqi
C2 Diluc
C1 Mona
C0 Keqing
C0 Dehya
No Tighnari

Qiqi was my jam for healing, both solo and for the rare coop stuff Ive done until I got Kokomi and Shinobu.

Plus Qiqi with a black sword was hilariously hard to kill.

Arlecchino herself is questionable, wait and see.

Lyney is a strong mono pyro nuker, primarily single target but can also compress his whole kit into a very powerful frontloaded burst of damage with AoE.

Wanderer is underwhelming, but some people really like his gameplay.

Baizhu is a great healer for Furina teams and a powerful Quicken healer. Can be pretty niche otherwise. Xianyun would be a better choice.

Generally, we have so many different strong pyro onfielder dpses, each with their own niche, pick 1 or 2 and ignore all others.
Like Diluc or GaMing for plunging if you have Xianyun. Like Klee+Furina for a powerful easy to play forward vape team. Like Yoimiya if you enjoy brainless button mashing (demands very high investment and is awful in AoE situations), Hu Tao for meta. Yanfei can be fun for her simplistic playstyle.

If the Throne of Meower isn't available to new players after the event ends, Hoyo devs need to be tried in the Hague for crimes against humanity.

at this point do I haev a lineup where I could feasibly use Rosaria or Lynette in a party? The cat even really endeared me to Rosaria and I kinda love Lynette's design

Same with Barbara or Layla to a lesser extent

I know you can use p much anyone with anyone and it'll work outside of the Abyss but its always nice when a team just gels right so... yeah

Before I started using Rosaria as Eula support I used her in a melt team with Bennett and Xiangling, 4th person could be Layla for shield

Lynette can be pretty much be placed anywhere you'd place any anemo character with the VV set

The grind to get the six yellow ascension gems for 80 is the worst part of either Genshin or Star Rail. It takes forfuckingever and at least the artifact grind gives you other things and maybe some filler ones you can use while going for the optimal ones. Wanting to ascend Beidou/XQ/XL/Yoimiya and its just taking forever, even after converting all the ones I have

I guess it gets better once you're at endgame for a while with stable teams. I can't remember the last time I went out of my way for someone's elemental gems/chunks.

You can convert other colors to the one you need if you have the right material. Took me a while to realize that.

Yeah I remember this used to be annoying.

On the bright side, as you play longer it becomes less and less of a problem. Eventually you build up a pool of gems by doing daily commissions and weekly bosses so eventually you should never need to grind again.

In the meantime, you can get more by converting other gem types. Even if you're F2P, if you're getting all the wishes you can and using them, that should give you enough stardust to buy all the wishes per month while still having some left over to buy conversion materials.
