I hope I can get a cut of that.

I subbed to Premier ~10 years ago for 20 bucks a month vs a one time fee of $800, since I wasn't sure if I would like it.

11 years later, instead of me keeping it once 800 or whatever was reached, it kept going. Pretty sure I've paid $2500+ so far

My God, Solid game from start to finish, Chapter 3&5 being absolute highlights

The N64 and this game in particular still has my favorite depiction of Bowser.

I liked Bobobo, but not One Piece, even though it has similar energy imo

Also, Jelly Jiggler has been one of my favorite words to say for the past 15 or so years, so it has always been on my mind

I'm in the group that likes PM64 more than TTYD.

PM64 is a very fun game from game start to finish, every chapter is great, and the story and characters are simple but effective, making it a super solid classic RPG. There no real bad parts in it

I only really like half the chapters in TTYD and most are at the end ( Chapters 3, 6,7,8). There's tons of backtracking, and the weaker chapters don't have enough oomph to them.

I do agree that the battle system is superior in nearly every way. I also like Goombaria, Vivian and the Yoshi more than 64s partners sans Bow

I dislike Marble Garden more than Carnival Night, but like Carnival Night, I've grown to tolerate it.

Between it and Sandopolis, it's easily the most hazardous level

I gave it a 8/10, and the ending boosted it a little.

If I didn't like the ending it would have been a 7.5.

Game is decent for the first 15 or so hours, but after that everything drags and the gameplay isn't strong enough to be a 40 hour game

I wouldn't spend more than $50. If you wait till June you can probably grab a copy for $40

The Fatal Strike mechanic in Tales of Vesperia

Proper FS combos can multiple of the following;

- Defeat enemies instantly, regardless of HP
- Buff allies
- Heal HP/TP
- Give you more points to use for the Post game shop

And most importantly
- Give you more EXP/ LP to Level up/ Master skills in one battle
- Guarantee item drops for any and all enemies

Its up there for me. Act 1 is one of the smoothest levels ever in Sonic.

The fact it's a repurposed Chrome Gadget is so good. The Mania Team and Tee Lopes absolutely killed it

The only dub CG voice that doesn't quite fit is Shirley (inconsistent) and Nunally in R2

Other than that it's perfectly cast

The 1st 3 episodes of SAO will always stick to me, almost perfect.

That was around the time I got back into Toonami, so having the new hot show pop off was amazing

Vesperia sorta fits the bill. But honestly it's just 3 side quests

Whether you do the other sidequests or not, you will hover around Lv65-70, as a majority of quests dont involve enough fighting to skyrocket your levels, but;

The Giganto Monster quest provides levels, since each one is pretty much a boss
The Devil Arms Quest reveals the true final boss
The Early Post game dungeon visit provides plenty of levels, as well allows you to find the last two devil's arms

If you do the above, you will probably sit at Lv80+ vs the Lv85 True final boss.

Games are a cheap hobby if you avoid impulse buying (the thing you just did,TC) every other game at full price

The most I've spent on gaming in a single year was probably 2017

A PS4 + 2 games for ~$300
Sonic Mania for $20
A Switch with Mario Odyssey for <$400
Nier Automata and BoTW Deluxe for $70-$80

On a normal year without console purchases, it's typically $50-$150

$800 isn't too crazy, compared to a weekend Air BnB at a beachhouse

I got the platinum, but I remember beating the game at around 70 hours, and 100%/ Plat almost 70 hours later, even with prep

Blitzball and filling out the sphere grid took forever.

Blitzball - 6 hours
Other dumb mini games - 4 hours
Capturing monsters - 15 hours
Sphere grid grind to match Dark Aeons - 30 hours
Sphere grid completion for every character 10 hours

Actually fighting the Aeons and Penace - 3 hours at best

I love FFX, but it did not respect your time at all. That's why I don't bother with 100% anymore. FFX-2 is even worse
