It was one of the rare cases where a shadow drop actually did give it a ton of buzz. But as someone else pointed out, its likely that it was mostly GamePass players that played it (myself included, though I ended up buying it on Steam later once I cancelled my GP)

So gutted. They were a great up and coming studio.

Do you need to pay for PlayStations online services if youre on PC? Or does a free PSN account work fine for playing on PC? I dont play my PS5 online so just wondering if my base account might be enough if I go PC for this game.

Well I bought Plumbers Dont Wear Ties Definitive Edition, which is probably up there.

Its easy to pick some old retro throwaway licensed titles like Swamp Thing on Game Boy or American Gladiators on Super NES,

But probably one of the worst games I played in the past 10 or so years that I was expecting to be at least decent was Sonic Forces. That. Game. Was. Turds.

64 and Sunshine still feel fun to play today (especially with the 3D All-stars slight polish)
for me at least.

Galaxy is hard to get into again for some reason. I prefer my 3D Marios as collectathons, and in that vein Odyssey is indeed my favorite.

I had the option to opt in to keeping LUE on my board list when the privatizing was happening, and I intentionally said no. Any curiosity I had just wasnt worth wanting to be associated with a place with such an awful legacy.

We used to get it a lot as a teen and I didnt think badly of it then. The garlic sauce admittedly did a lot of the carrying.

I havent had them in a looooong time so I have no idea if theyre worse or if theyve always been bad but Ive got my local 2-3 pizza places to cover all my needs.

Im guessing the maintenance costs and other compromises are pretty big red flags that may offset their cheap pricing, but if a mobile home mortgage is significantly cheaper than rent, is it the type of thing you can coast on as a crutch while saving for a standard built home? Never looked into the market myself but find it interesting.

As a marketer I genuinely struggle with how I can integrate ChatGPT and other AI tools into my workload for something productive.

Im fully fine with admitting I might be too smooth-brained for this but hear me out.

I dont want to ask questions to find information, since I cant trust the accuracy of the information provided.

I dont want to ask for generative writing prompts, even if its highly trained on my specific content, because its hard to then disassociate from what I see written as what I should use, killing my creative flow. And using it for something like starting an email message or a cover letter seems risky as being perceived by a reader as AI generated even if I heavily modify it.

The best I came up with was requesting summaries of competitors social media channels to get some ideas for what their best practices are, but most of the suggestions are repeats of the same info, or only slightly differentiated.

Maybe Im missing something, or the right productivity tool hasnt hit me yet, but Im not sure what I can do that would be substantially useful (and at least not destructive)

Crafting mechanics

We heard menus are the best part of video games so we dedicated entire gameplay around moving things around in a menu, and yes, its required if you actually want to succeed at this game

Every YouTuber, podcaster and internet celeb in my demo has been doing ad reads for these for years. But has anyone here actually bought them and used them? How do they fare? Genuinely curious if anyones taken a chance on them, I wouldnt be so suspicious if their marketing tendrils werent so ridiculously wide-reaching.

Red Deck is pretty mid - Discards are nice and complement some Jokers (Banner) and hands (Flushes) well, but Blue Deck is probably easier to win with in general.

Try to get to 25 dollars as fast as possible while surviving the first ante or so, and use the interest after that to fuel your deck upgrades.

Erratic is super fun, especially if you reroll it a few times to get a setup you like.

OT I think what stings about OW2 is like what many said - OW was an awesome incredible case for worldbuilding and characters, fueled by the excellent shorts, and a huuuuge swath of gamers I know from all backgrounds who wouldnt normally touch a shooter were playing this religiously in part because of these characters. PvE campaign was a huge chance to actually move this interesting world forward and it was squandered, and replaced with a worse product. I cant believe how much my wife and I loved the original and how absolutely little we care about the sequel.

Ill never stop dying on the hill that 5v5 was a mistake

Scuffed runs are definitely a thing at higher stakes where you can easily lose momentum, but Ive sometimes pulled out a win from what I thought was going to be a disaster. Sometimes you just gotta hold out as best you can, spend all your cash to keep your deck afloat, and see if youll be blessed with that perfect run-saving Joker.

Id love to have a mode where I could start with a Joker of my choice. Would add identity to a run, and make it more fun to build around. You get a taste of that in Challenge Mode and its really neat.

I guess you could accomplish that somewhat with seeded runs but that takes effort to find out how to proc a specific joker early, and then it plays out basically the same every attempt.

Had this pretty funky run last night.

On black stakes and above, most jokers have a chance of being eternal. Eternal jokers pair really nicely with Madness and Hex/Ankh spectral cards.

Yup, Madness carried me through an Orange Stake round to earn the last deck. I had the pants joker that adds Mult for playing Two Pair as an Eternal, then found an Odd Todd that was eternal by the end the Madness Xmult was like 12 and carried me.

Now to beat Gold Stakes but first, think Im gonna try winning with the other unlockable decks

The first computer I ever interacted with was an Apple Macintosh owned by my dad. I mostly remember playing around with the word processor and playing Lode Runner and Glypha on it.

I built a PC with a friends help for the first time in 2011 ahead of Skyrims launch. It was a budget build of around 700 at the time, cant remember all the specs on it but it served me well.

Marvin was already in the first version, last character added before they pulled the plug. People just stopped caring when he was quietly added I guess lol.

I have no idea how theyre going to get the momentum back, and I wonder how much WB actually supports them. Everything about this dev update video just feels like WB isnt giving them the budget to go big but theyre trying.

I hope it does better because I love platform fighters, but I didnt love their outrageous business model from the beta. And hot take, but I liked Nick All Stars 1 and 2 better gameplay wise.

A tragic loss for everyone in creative fields. As another poster said, Toriyamas work wasnt just transformative for manga and anime, but for pop culture. And in practically every corner of the world.

Personally, I think Im putting all other gaming on hold until I can replay Chrono Trigger in his honor.

Lets be glad for the body of work he created.
