OkThat is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. That game is completely unplayable.
But imagine a game that fails from a game design point of view, in terms of writing, in terms of presentation, AND is a disaster technically, not at all functional and runs like crap.
I mean, we're talking about a game where none of the buttons does anything except make your character jitter in his oscillation between two really awkward frames of animation. A game where, if you manage to hack your way into providing actual workable control, bombards you with an enemy that stands on top of you dealing contact damage, too close for you to shoot (remember, the projectiles spawn at the end of your arm cannon), and runs faster than you, so you can neither destroy it nor escape it and your only hope is to just ignore it and haul ass to the end of the level before you run out of HP.
And the one that got my pick was that game's even worse sequel. Whose title is Mega Man III even though there is no Mega Man II.
That is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. That game is completely unplayable.I'm not saying DJMH is good, but I have a copy in my NES right now and I'd definitely play it over the MM DOS games.
There are movies that excel from a technical standpoint that get lower ratings on RT.Sure. There are some games that are broken technically but still have something interesting enough about them to rival a game with just spectacularly bad design.
Yes obviously there are games that are broken pieces of garbage but there are games out there that run or control perfect fine but are just bad.
But probably one of the worst games I played in the past 10 or so years that I was expecting to be at least decent was Sonic Forces. That. Game. Was. Turds.Ah man, if I had to pick 2 games where me and my friends+brother legitimately expected them to be good and thus we pre-ordered was resident evil operation raccoon city and left alive.
I don't know if it's the worst, but Stuntman on the PS2 was a massive disappointment. What? I had a lot of fun with it.
Death Stranding.
it's trash in every area outside of visuals and performance (I experienced no bugs or crashes).
Most Atari games barely qualify as games, they're mostly like a BASIC school project that someone got bored of halfway through and never finished.Back then, it was uncommon for games to have actual endings, the objective was simply to see how much of a high score you could get, which you could take photos of and send in for a patch to commemorate your skill if you reached a certain score depending on the game. Though, a few did have endings, like E.T., or Raiders of the Lost Ark, or Jungle Hunt.
Saints Row Reboot, between the stupid glitches, the sub par (in my opinion) voice acting and the dumb storyline, it was bad.
Rebooting a well loved franchise was a bad idea and poorly executed.
Starfield
I understand being disappointed, but the worst ?12 years waiting for elder scrolls or 8 for a new fallout instead we get mehfield
Legacy of Goku 1 on GBAMan when I was a little kid, I used to play the game just to watch that short intro that plays whenever you start up the game.
the 2nd and 3rd games are phenomenal, though
Thank you for the laugh.IV isn't the buggiest game but go off.
So lets see now you didn't mind all the bugs and glitches that you got in the other Saint's Row games right? According to tvtropes Saint's Row IV is the most buggiest game there is. When I first played Saint's Row The Third Remastered the game crashed/froze up on me over 21 times. I was taking to saving every two minutes so I wouldn't loose everything. The game has never been patched fully. Where as in the reboot I have barley had any bugs or glitches.
Poor voice acting? Er nope. The voice acting was fine.
Dumb story? Oh really? So you think that storyline is dumber than the story of IVwhere The Zin take over and destroy Earthor the storyline of Gat Out Of Hell? Er nope. IV has the dumbest story in SR and Gat Out Of Hell gives it a run for it's money.
So er want to try again? The real reason none of you like it is because "Wahh they got rid of Johnny shitty Gat Wahh"!
Saint's Row reboot is a very good game.
IV isn't the buggiest game but go off.
The reboot was trash and was poorly received.
Look, Johnny Gatt was always just another character. No idea why the series and fans got so obsessed with him. It'd be like if the silent hill ending dog got his own game.
Also saints row stopped being good after 2 anyway.
