Funny enough Smallville literally had an episode like 20 years ago where Clark confronts his mother about his undocumented immigrant status to convey to her why they should help an immigrant. And Dean Cain fucking guest starred on that show and Im pretty sure it was after that episode
I swear some people act like they were born yesterday.Well we are talking about people that thought Homelander was the good guy
Well we are talking about people that thought Homelander was the good guyWhich I can't understand. Doesn't the show establish that Homelander
Which I can't understand. Doesn't the show establish that Homelanderraped a womanin the first episode?
The type of person who idolizes Homelander is the type of person who typically doesn't have a problem with that sort of thing.

Its funny because Superman is probably the biggest thing hes known for and he wasnt even particularly good at it. Ask any Superman fan who their favorite Superman is and I am 100% certain not a single one will say Dean Cain.Sorry Brandon is the Atom for me. I think if that character is ever used again hes my pick.
Christopher Reeve? Of course. Henry Cavill? Sure. Tom Welling? You betcha. Hell even Brandon Routh has some fans. But Dean Cain? Literally no one cares
Fuck me how did I forget Tyler? Hes brilliant. I fucking love Superman and Lois. Its one of the best Superman stories of all time imo. Sadly he wont be at this con. I would love to see himSo this show is good? I think its on Netflix. Maybe Ill check it out

Its impressive that the person involved in human trafficking and running a sex cult was not the worst person from the Smallville cast.
He wasnt in SmallvilleHe played Curtis Knox, a recurring villain originally intended to be Vandal Savage before DC told them no.
Felt kinda sad for Brandon, his acting career didn't really take off after Superman Returns. He was in the CW shows.
Fun fact: Im going to a convention this weekend where he will be a guest at a Superman panel. I really wanna meet him so I can call him an asshole to his face
Felt kinda sad for Brandon, his acting career didn't really take off after Superman Returns.Kinda feel like hes more iconic for playing Todd in Scott Pilgrim

So....yeah, his acting career didn't really take off.

Isn't there a "Superman curse" where actors' careers don't really take off after landing the role of Superman (either through bad luck or tragedy)Hmm, I guess because starring as Superman is such a high profile role (my own assumption) that people would assume job offers will start rolling in after that.
Felt kinda sad for Brandon, his acting career didn't really take off after Superman Returns. He never got a big Hollywood role again but he's been consistently acting. Arrowverse stuff for many years. Some Hallmark stuff. He was in a Taylor Swift music video!

Kinda like James Bond actors.
Fanboy? I'm going tomorrow.Yep.
You can tell he genuinely believes the stupid shit he is saying, because he's not a good enough actor to pretend to be this fucking dumb.See, part of me thinks that this is a grift. It's been a long time since I watched episodes of Lois and Clark, but I remember the show being faithful to the character's values. Surely he would've picked up on that back then. That's why I wouldn't be surprised that it's all an act to get favor with the MAGA crowd. Which is even worse than actually believing it, in my view.
The weird thing about Dean Cain is that he seems like such a nice person in spite of thisI'm sure he's a well meaning guy he just has an acute case of white privilege.
Cain said, "Superman's inherent weakness [is] his goodness," a quality he described as emblematic of the character's "great values."Translation: Cain demonstrates he has no comprehension of the character he played for 4 years.

isnt the whole point of Superman that he's an illegal alien to begin with? lolI've seen far too many people on social media claim he is instead "a refugee".
I've seen far too many people on social media claim he is instead "a refugee".Which is irrelevant because they're against that too.
Which is irrelevant because they're against that too.Even if they claim they aren't, a refugee is a type of immigrant, just with one extra detail.
