Thing is, if people don't spend money they don't have the American economy collapses. It's based on endless growth and unlimited consumption.
My only concern would be that if I'm ordering something online for pick up, I know if I was working at that grocery store, I'd definitely find the version of that item that I want out of my store first.
Someone wants to order some apples? Better believe I'm not giving them the best damn apples in the store. I'm finding whatever is passable and that's what they get. They order milk? I'm finding the carton with the closest best before date and they're getting that.
You want someone else to grab all that for ya? Cool, I'll do it. Get that shit out of my store. XD
People aren't going to let consistency stand in the way of a good judging.
Those with nothing to say should just say nothing.
Some people on this board will tell you not to judge people how they spend their time and money, but they also bashed on a guy that bought $600 shoes and a $80 candle.you mean the guy that quite literally admitted those topics were trolling and made to provoke and then got suspended for it?
It's a shame this username is wasted on someone who doesn't understand opinions. It's your opinion that people have a problem with. Saying we don't understand opinion in like that shows that you don't understand opinion. We don't have to accept your opinion simply because "just your opinion"
This guy uses 10 posts per page lmaoYou say that like it's some strange or bad thing.
You say that like it's some strange or bad thing.Preferences. I prefer 50 posts per page so that I'm not constantly having to click "next" while reading through a long topic.
I could never wrap my mind why anyone would want to look at a long ass page full of a hundred posts. Having 10 posts per page also makes it easier to follow the conversation better.

If a topic is 160 posts long, that's 4 clicks vs 16 clicks

Seems a lot more expensive in the US.
I pay 3-5, no surcharges. And no one tips for supermarket deliveries.

Both myself and my partner work a full week. We have two extremely active, brilliant, neurodiverse children.
By all means, keep your smirk and your sense of self-satisfaction. Next grocery shop, you're looking after them.
You can't.
According to one user here that's just false.I was comparing my experience in the UK with those of people from the US.
Why do people always speak in absolutes.
Y'all Sith?
I was comparing my experience in the UK with those of people from the US.
UK supermarkets have their own home delivery fleets. People don't tip them.
I'm not your keeper. You don't have to justify to me how you live your life.Given the topic title and text, you're clearly pronouncing judgement on the way my family does things.
Height of laziness imho.
Given the topic title and text, you're clearly pronouncing judgement on the way my family does things.
Clearly, you need to either shitpost or get off the pot.
I'll also judge you if you eat cold pizza. Everyone has judgements.Nah, I'll just think you're a judgemental turd.
Is it going to change anything about the way you do things?
Yes that is how opinions work. People are equally allowed to disagree as I am to have the opinion in the first place. I don't give two shits if anyone accepts it. But don't come in here with this energy that I'm trying to troll you by having my own opinions. Again, that's this meme.
Is tipping a thing in general in the UK?Largely confined to table service, hairdressers, and taxi drivers.
I'll never understand able bodied people ordering groceries

so there is no reason to bust out the "my opinion" card.
imho.
Why does "it's just your opinion" mean we can't find it upsetting or offensive?
I understand it, but its not for me.
Ill take the 20min to pick out things as I please over someone rushing to pick bad produce, wrong items, someone letting my food roll around on their dirty car floor mats.
I can pack up all my groceries so effeminately
The other day I wanted some watermelon and paid like $30 to have it delivered
Also how do these groceries get delivered? Part of why I really like going shopping is I have a couple collapsable baskets I got from Costco which are so much better than any bag, reusable or not. I can pack up all my groceries so efficiently and reuse them infinitely. Then I don't have a thousand reusable bags cluttering up my house and car (which never make it back to the car). I just have two baskets that are easy to remember to put back in my car because I leave them by the front door when they're brought in.
If the groceries are showing up in more bags (even if they are reusable) I think that's extra ridiculous and contributing to a growing problem now where we ditched plastic bags but now everyone has a million reusable ones.
Because they have more money than they have time. It's not that hard to understand. TC just sounds poor and resentful.
We shaming poor people now?If the TC wants to shame people with more money than time, then why is that not fair game?
