I don't have a local one.

No, but I've never eaten at a Red Lobster anyway

i would count the closet one within the state. there's none in oregon shutting down.
currently playing: elder scrolls skyrim (ps5)
RIP Sophie the dog: February 2011-april 2024. we'll miss you alot.
Huh. Oddly no.
My Mario Maker 2 ID is 6RG-5XK-JCG
There's only one shutting down in my state, and it's nowhere close. There are still some around me.
...I think I'm done here...
Only one near me closed like 8 years ago.
Oh wow, I was wrong. My local is both still open and not on the list. I have no idea how. I can't remember the last time I saw even a single car there. I guess I'm just never there at dinner time, and no one wants seafood for lunch?
I apologize for nothing!
The one in my town got shuttered like some 5 years ago
I bought the Taito Egret II Mini just to play puchi carat
Love making emblems in games that allow you to do so!
Surprisingly no. I thought they were all shutting down.

oh ****, they're closing both of the austin locations, one which has been around for at least twenty years

The two in my state that are closing are 2 hours away and 5 hours away.
Without truth, there is nothing.
Mine is staying I guess.

Yes, the Pittsburgh one is closing.

Lots of family memories in that place. (I haven't gone since like 2019 though)

Sad.
I'm a long, long way from giving up
Call me old-fashioned, call me a fool
Looks like mine's safe. Which makes sense, because struggling franchises tend to hang on this town for a long time (we still have a functioning mall with an FYE for goodness sake).
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.
Yup. Not that I'd ever go to a Red Lobster.

Yeah, the only one in the state too. Not sure if the others were already gone or something. No way we only had one in the whole state. Haven't been in years. Sea food messes with my stomach now.
Fix your hearts or die.
When I sin I sin real good.
No, which is surprising considering a couple of the other mall parking lot-core restaurants right next door have already closed

Yep, and it's some bullshit too since it's both older and busier than most stores in the region.

The nearest one is already 45 minutes. It's not closing, but I don't plant to drive an hour and a half for Red Lobster.
Carpe petat
I found out the one near me is apparently the oldest continuously operating Red Lobster in the country, and it's not on the list
Sack to crack, going to town
Mine is sticking around, although I've never been to a Red Lobster in my life

The nearest one is already closed. There were 6 in San Antonio and 3 of them are either closed or closing.

Yup, all of them in western New York area
More to do with the humidity than heat
No, but I'm getting Mandela effected about where the closest one actually is.

Chapter 11 is a plan for some sort of reorganization with continued operations. Closing them all down and liquidating assets would have been Chapter 7.
I are Serious Cat
This is serious thread
No, but I don't like Red Lobster anyway.
This thread has me feeling pretty crabby
I need to update my signature.
My "local" one closed ages ago. The one half an hour away is somehow still trucking, despite being in an area with really good restaurants.

Two in my area, but they're not the ones I go to. There's two more that I'm aware of
I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.
Yes, its on the list
Nope, apparently staying open.

Probably havent been there in over a decade.

Yep, the california one is gone.
DI MOLTO!
My local one lives. Only 3 are closing in my state. No idea how many there are, though.
Many Bothans died to bring you this post.
The closest one to me is closing. It isn't a surprise.

People need to realize seafood restaurants are way too niche in 2024 which is why Red Lobster is dying.

Red Lobster is dying because of poor business decisions. They were bought out by some firm that forced them to rent their land back to them and also forced them to buy tons of shrimp from a shrimp vendor they owned.

the closest one to me is 20 minutes away or so. its not closing. never had red lobster before tho
My fate was the grandest, most brilliant of them all.
He/Him
Yep, but I was never a Red Lobster fan. Living in Western Washington we have such an assortment of great local seafood places that we can go to.
Both are staying open.
You gonna do something or just stand there and bleed?
