That is exactly linked to the issue of GOG having less games because the devs want DRM. Which is the tradeoff. GOG has no DRM (which is better imo) but comes at the cost of less games since most devs want DRM.Publishers are the ones who want DRM, devs simply do what their publisher tells them to.
