I don't even know who this is, to even think of watching a four hour long Youtube video.

As somebody who likes Jenny Nicholson she does like hour long videos normally this one seems obscenely long
I'll try to watch that but I'm not sure how you get four hours out of "Disney charged too much because they thought Star Wars sold better than it does"
Documentary length s*** is becoming more and more popular on Youtube
While that's true even most documentaries aren't four hours long. It feels like she went from 0 to 60 in two seconds. It's just daunting. I can tackle an hour long video over dinner and some relaxation time after work, but four hours is a huge askYou act like this is new for her, but her previous video was nearly four hours long as well, and there was a two-and-a-half hour Vampire Diaries video at some point in the past too

Basically my take is I'd rather a few hour long videos over the year than one four hour video once a yearThis is exactly how I feel about it. Except I'm okay with those episodes dropping all at once too. But I just like having episodes.
does it talk about how fucking stupid it was that they could have designed their ultra expensive hotel experience around any concept and they settled on cramming you in tiny windowless cruiseship roomsim half an hour in and so far the weird marketing, bizarre cryptic pricing, and comparison to Spirit Airlines have been the topic.
MrBeast could do a video where he gives away a million dollars to a viewer every minute and people still wouldn't watch a 4 hour video of him doing it. Four hours for a Youtube video is just holy crap
and simple, Disney overcharged and everybody lolnoped.Like the cheapest room was $5,000 for 2 nights for 2 people (and you had to book 2 nights, because the hotel's interactive story lasted 2 days). That's expensive as hell, when Disney World itself is already extremely expensive.
I don't even know or care what a Star Wars Hotel isI think its a theme park thing

Guys, you are meant to leave it on the background while playing a game or some other activityIs that what these videos are for now? Just hours of monetized background drone?
Guys, you are meant to leave it on the background while playing a game or some other activityThen why is it a video and not a podcast or something?
I saw a recent 9 hour video that covers every Fallout game in-depthDo you have a link to this one
This.Yeah, the underestimated the amount of the Venn diagram crossover of "our rich ass customers who could afford this" and "people who are big enough fans to want to do this".

So what people are in here saying is... they don't want to deal with an unbroken and lengthy immersion into a niche experience? Four hours for free with the ability to leave or return at any time without leaving your home? What I am saying is that, for most viewers, I don't believe there is four hours of worthwhile material to be had from the subject matter.
Seems a good meta reflection for the discussion of a full two-day stay that costs over $5k where you can't leave and do anything else, have to travel all the way there, and it's a popular property but niche experience
What I am saying is that, for most viewers, I don't believe there is four hours of worthwhile material to be had from the subject matter. To be blunt, who really cares what you believe? The video has gotten over a million views in a day so far.
To be blunt, who really cares what you believe?Does anyone post here with the expectation that others will care?
What I am saying is that, for most viewers, I don't believe there is four hours of worthwhile material to be had from the subject matter.I won't say that the video couldn't benefit from some additional conciseness, but it largely used its run time well. It definitely isn't a casual dive into subject. It's probably the most extensive look at the hotel and it's experience. It definitely isn't for everyone but it is good to have really in depth views of now defunct experiences, that few got to have to begin with.
I for one will be glad to watch it, because everything Jenny Nicholson does is excellent
