I get like 32 MPG. I also own a 2007 Acura MDX. I only drive that when I need to carry big stuff, carpooling with more than 4 people or when the weather is bad.

I only drive once a week in the weekend to buy groceries so I only buy gas like every other month and it's $25

I think last year I spent a grand total of $175 on gas for the entire year

Acceptably. It has started burning oil in the past year. We got it in 2019 with 90,000 miles on it. Id say we got our moneys worth. We had a Highlander with 180,000 on it that ran like a champ.

I kind of want to get the new prius, but i think it might be too small

Theres less clearance inside. We car camp. We have a mattress that fits in the back and is fine for ours. We rented a newer model I. A west coast trip last year and bought an air mattress. Not nearly as much room.

2012 Toyota Yaris. Last time I measured, it was getting ~36MPG.
I drive a 2022 Honda Accord (not a V6). I only get 29-30 mpg due to the frequent stop and go traffic, but it's a few mpg higher than my former civic, so still nice.

am i the only one who feels like all cars should be getting at least 40mpg by this point?

I usually drive an electric car that, using the "multiply by 40" rule, gets 332 mpg.

I have a couple of other cars that are pretty shite on fuel, but that's not why I bought them. Last time I had this debate I said that you don't buy a gaming PC and complain that it uses a lot of power, same deal.

Are the newer ones that shite on fuel? I had a 2009/2010 S4 a while back and even that got mid-low 20s. I thought the new ones were diesel too. Either you have a leaky fuel pumpy or there are some porky pies!

In seriousness, we've got two cars. A 2013 Aqua that gets about 25km/L and a 1999 Corolla (manual) that gets about 15km/L. Y'all can figure out what that is in your weird 'murica units.

I drive a 2022 Mercedes GLA 250.

Shes averaging around 33 MPG right now after her big road trip.

At home where I tend to be a lead foot in sport mode the whole time she averages around 26.

If I grandma her in eco mode Ive gotten her as good as 38, but thats rare.
