I think it was one of the Tenchu games (Tenchu Z?) where holding the stealth button while running just resulted in a slightly slower, more mindful run, and I really, really appreciated that compared to crouch walking everywhere. Crouch walking, especially in armor like in Assassin's Creed, has always looked so dumb to me. It makes sense when next to a short fence you're ducking behind or something like that, but otherwise it just looks goofy.
I think crouching in general should be a context-based action. If you press stealth but you're behind a wall or sneaking up on someone from behind, crouching doesn't make you more stealthy. But if you're in some brush or tall grass, or behind a short fence, absolutely crouch.
So many modern day gamers wouldnt have lasted a month in 2008 CoD lobbies.Shut up, don't defend shitty behavior or actual racist, misogynistic, transphobic, homophobic assholes.
So many modern day gamers wouldnt have lasted a month in 2008 CoD lobbies. Not even a night imo. Experiencing the sheer toxicity of those games made me stronger as a person lol. I realized at a young age that they're just strangers on the internet to me and I don't care what they think.
I do agree about it needing to be changed because it could trigger sexual assault victims.
Anyone who bring up old ass games and how nobody saying this or not wanting to hear other players spouting off racist, misogynistic, sexual, etc shit wouldn't last in 2000's COD lobby should never be taken seriously and needs to grow the fuck up.
There was never room for that shit back then or even now, it's uncalled for and just really fucked up.
I unfortunately still hear similar shit when in a party with randoms for a Playlist in GTA online. Countless times I've left the party and game because of people saying stupid hateful shit, reporting does zero fucking good.
If you defend any of that behavior, grow the fuck up and stop trying to be edgy.
I'd like to think most of the people who did it back then and do it now are just trying to be edgy but unfortunately there's people who are actually that way and not trying to be edgy.

I don't mean to pry, Karate guy, but this seems kind of personal for you.
There's nothing wrong with that, just wondering if you have a story to share or anecdotal takeaway?
If I'm off the mark that's fine, am just curious.
Although at the same time...I find getting triggered by this a bit odd lol. It's just a video game, and it's just some characters models moving up and down on another character model. You're not actually, physically getting teabagged >.>
Shut up, don't defend shitty behavior or actual racist, misogynistic, transphobic, homophobic assholes.how many buzzwords can you fit in a single sentence

TC, have you talked to a professional about this? I don't see how this is an appropriate place. The people here can't help you.
It's more or less how I feel like I'm being treated; like trash. If teabagging "wasn't a thing" in our world and had no meaning to it, I probably wouldn't care.
Op was teabagged one too many times lolol
I don't believe any of that feedback on Xbox. Like I've was marked 33% for trash talk and I don't even have a mic. People be complaining cause they suck and are sore loses . It's a game. Play it and have fun. Fuck.
I feel like the person doesn't see me as a person on the other endThey quite honestly dont. Im not sure Ive ever even met someone in twenty or so years of playing shooters that has ever expressed a genuine concern for the player on the other side. Id be incredibly concerned if people thought of those online avatars as other real people; and still decided to kill them.
I still remember the anti-teabagging feature in CoD4 (or maybe it was Modern Warfare 2) being talked about a lot, lol. Your corpse left a grenade behind if you picked a certain perk, so you could blow up if you wasted time teabagging people.Martyrdom. I actually pulled that off in PUBG the other day when a team of four tried to gank me. Guess they didnt expect someone to pull a grenade when they knew they were going down.
More games should do stuff like that.
I hate tea-bagging and will report it. In games where this idea wouldnt effect gameplay, I would support removing crouching.
I also dont want to trivialize your feelings at all, but its important to remember regarding this

I guess what Im saying is its not you theyre disrespecting, its the opponent who they just beat that looks like a virtual character. I actively avoid content and real life circumstances that trigger PTSD (which is actually the opposite of modern therapy, but a licensed counselor should assist with that). I would imagine people who have PTSD triggered by being shot at avoid shooting games entirely.
Even on these forums, people barely empathize enough with strangers to consider the feelings of the person behind the text; and were not simulating murder like competitive shooters. I do remember you as a poster and a person, and I hope you read what Im saying with the sympathetic sincerity Im trying to convey. Its just that the internet has so far shown that its the place where the worst of ourselves is let out, and many people struggle even in real life with being courteous.
I think I suggested it before, but I highly recommend professional counseling. Lots of places offer medical services for free if you lack insurance and income; Im getting free care in San Antonio, TX of all places. Surprisingly, this counselor is even by far the best Ive had, even if that comes with its own issues. Im always open to PMs if you had questions about counseling, free care services, or anything else (including being yelled at for being tactless).
I seriously hate that people have to be this awful. Despite my love for succubi, I don't like the idea of rape. Heck, the two I met asked me if I wanted to lay with them instead of climbing on top of me as I slept. It sounds like you have significantly bigger problems than teabagging in a video game
Teabagging happens WHEN YOU FALL IN BATTLE, not when you win.All my clients are in jail due to me sucking as a lawyer.
Seriously, why don't you go back to the lawyer's office?

He was 15 at the time going through a rough time with his parents. Last I heard he is doing well in a good career.

Shut up, don't defend shitty behavior or actual racist, misogynistic, transphobic, homophobic assholes.Calm the fuck down. Im talking about basic teabagging just to dunk on opponents that you killed. The chats are entirely different. Even then, it was an unspoken rule to not take anything personally and to give as good as you get or just mute the guy that pissed you off the most.

That I was contacted by demons in my dreams? I consider myself a demonist (not Satanist) because those dreams.Yeah I would unironically recommend seeing someone with what youve posted in this topic, although it seems like you already are.
I also saw my deceased grandfather from my dad's side in one. He gave me a souvenir mug from Indiana and I later learned he was born there. I don't call that a coincidence and genuinely believe he visited me and is touring America like he used to when he was alive.
