I don't trust polls at all.

We know RFK's campaign exists solely to help Trump, his own campaign accidentally admitted it.
When his campaign abruptly gets scuppered of all financial support suddenly, that is when we know that Republican playmakers have determined that the topic title is true. No sooner than that.

That's the correct attitude to have in regards to polls. Just look at the trash poll CNN just posted: https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/28/politics/cnn-poll-trump-biden-matchup/index.html

The only thing that matters is turning out the votes en masse for Democrats.

This.
It is impossible to live in the past, difficult to live in the present, and a waste to live in the future.
(He/Him).
Logically it makes sense, but I also agree with those who suggest taking no comfort in any polls these days.

It is amusing to see Trump and RFK Jr. getting into a bit of a war of words though.

By all means, don't trust the polls (Though at this point, I think the polls are mostly bought up by Republicans to flood them with overly optimistic estimates to push the great lie about voter fraud for the next cycle). The thing is though, I think you are misunderstanding the conservative movement. It exists to grift money. RFK Jr. isn't trying to help Trump, he is trying to grift money from donors. And because of that, he isn't mysteriously dropping out the moment it has become clear to everyone that he is actually pulling more Republican voters than Democrats. Republicans will happily fuck each other over if it means the money comes to them. They are capitalists first and ideologues second. Like, you can see it down the line with every part of their party. Look at their megachurch pastors. They might actually believe the bullshit they are preaching, or they might not, but the one thing they definitely believe in is the gospel of prosperity.

Yeah, the holistic new agers are kind of a dying breed. The replacement seems to be anti-science skeptics with a 5th grade reading level who think "natural" means it's healthy. "Natural" milk has bacteria in it and "natural" ponds of water can have brain eating amoeba in it.

No doubt, RFK is a grifter.
I did not say he would drop out when that moment came. He is a self-interested entity and will try to grift as long as he can, hopefully eventually to Trump's detriment.

I said the moment that his campaign is suddenly losing all its major donors and cash is when you know he's reached that inflection point. Never said he'd drop out at the moment. He, like all Republicans -- self-labeled or secretive --, is greedy and not that bright. He'll probably try to keep the gravy train of small donors flowing at least, and I wouldn't dare try to predict the actions of a crazy person like him.
So I'm going with the thing that can be predicted and that will follow logic -- big money donors boosting his campaign pulling out -- as when you know his campaign is no longer useful.
I've been saying this all along, there are more Trump than Biden loonies who will vote for this loony.

What theyve become fond of doing is flooding the zone with bullshit polls then using those results to win an aggregate poll by a slightly more reputable pollster.

It's anecdotal, however I've heard a ton of stories of younger Dem-likely voters planning to vote for him because he's "not Biden or Trump". I think this ageism narrative the media hounded into society and social media really has people fucked in the head, especially since RFK is 70 himself.

On the issues he's only appealing to trumpers, however I think there's too many people looking for any other option who will dismiss how abhorrent RFK Jr. truly is.

Problem is he does nothing to appeal to democrats and independents. He's pretty much repeating far-right talking points. And his anti-vaccine opinion only makes him popular with republicans.
