I initially saw this posted on the PS5 board, but I didn't feel like reading the comments because I knew some people would likely say dismissive and/or outright inflammatory stuff.

it was pretty shamful that some people were making every kind of excuse to say removing it is "censorship" and that it should have stayed it...
I'm sure it wasn't done on purpose but it's good on the dev to change it. random grafiti change is literally nothing.Those textures were probably applied at random. It's just unfortunate placement

Couldn't believe people are being so dismissive about it. Especially that one guy who said something like "I'll disconnect from the internet so it will remain unpatched for me =)"

The reasonable take that should end the issue:
1) That was definitely unintentional
2) Removing it is a good call, even if it's not in your face for some it could cause some unintentional offense to someone else
3) Nobody actually cares about the placement of a standard repeated graphics tile and nothing of value was lost by moving them
Removing an unintended message is perfectly normal.

I think the bigger issue is the process that brought it about. Procedural generation I guess? In this kind of game?the R Shop thing is to point the character to a shop to buy stuff, according to the article, and R stands for Roxanne.
