They don't like how they made him a pro-American boy scout or something. Like if Cap was in-character, he'd help Rogue regardless.
"If people saw this suit in another country beating up people, that'd lead to problems."
"Then don't wear the suit, Cap."
That kinda stuff.

AKA The hyper patriot asshole version.
I was talking more about Ultimate Cap with that.
Why was Cable being a jackass to Cyclops . Like dude ain't a psychic he could not tell that he was your daddy, and Cable know why he sent him away.He has been through ALOT of shit in the future, plus, I think he knew Cyclops abandoned him and his mother.
Just finished watching and holy fuck, Rogue was incredible in this episode. My jaw dropped whenshe dropped Trask. Never saw that coming.
Who is thepurple guy? I'm not familiar with him at all, unless that's Apocalypse in disguise?
Nimrod (hilarious name)
I didn't find out until some time last year that Nimrod was actually a mighty hunter.
Nimrod is described in Genesis 10:812 as the first on earth to be a mighty man . He was a mighty hunter before the Lord. The only other references to Nimrod in the Bible are in Micah 5:6, where Assyria is called the land of Nimrod, and in 1 Chronicles 1:10, which reiterates his might.

It's only because of Bugs Bunny that we associate the name with buffoonery.

According to the comments in that article it was Daffy Duck, not Bugs Bunny.I know I've seen a cartoon with Bugs calling Elmer "Nimrod" but I'd be hard pressed to find it. Meanwhile there's a 4 second clip on youtube with Daffy calling him Nimrod.
So I saw people were mad about the Captain America appearance and Im trying to find out why?
According to the comments in that article it was Daffy Duck, not Bugs Bunny.I always wondered how Nimrod got associated with such a misnomer.

Cap was utterly useless. it was a strange cameo to have when he basically contributed nothing.Which usually means they're setting up for a future event.

Cap looked straight out of the Fleischer or Hannah/Barbera eras.
So what are our confirmed deaths so far?
We have Gyrich and Gambit absolutely 99% for realsies (that 1% being the margin of error inherent in every comic book death). 90% certain Bolivar Trask (unless he can be powered back up and even then, is life as a hidden Sentinel really being yourself).
And a very good chance that Sebastian Shaw, Dazzler, and Squidboy are dead from the Genosha attack based on Jean's psychic whatevers. Callisto also had a picture of her in memoriam so she's on the sliding scale towards deadness.
Am I missing anyone named?
Cable time travel shenanigans means none are confirmed.
Im not part of the LGBT community, but that part where sunspot came out to his mother felt cathartic. Seeing the acceptance while some people are shunned by their family made me feel a bit emotional...but then bitch talked about keeping it hidden.
I really hope they don't cheapen the characters death by bringing them back to life. I miss Gambit, but it will really take away the stakes this show is creating. If your parents are conservative, lying to them until they wise up is the best option if you don't want them constantly pestering you (best case) or disowning you (worst case). Unlike being gay/lesbian, it's not something that's going to eat you up inside if you hide that part of you from them.
It's not a one-to-one comparison but I had something similar like that happen when I opened up to my siblings that I was an Atheist. At first they were accepting of it, but then told me to lie to my parents about it or else it would hurt my relationship with them a lot. Up until this day, I'm still lying to my parents but that's because I'm really good at bullshitting that I'm a Christian. I admit it's not the most healthy way to live, but I love my parents too much to hurt their heart.
X-Men shower thought here, but... could Rogue touch Apocalypse to steal his power, then revive Gambit as her own horseman?I think that was due to Apocalypse's tech not his powers.
I think that was due to Apocalypse's tech not his powers.
Doubt Rogue trying to absorb his powers would work in the show, though....she's had issues in the past trying to drain from super powerful people and entities.
I wonder if the person behind Mr. Sinister isCassandra Novasince the show seems to partially adapt Grant Morrison's run.
Juggernaut was too much for her.

Kind of messed up Jean just stole his personality . When she could have helped him.
In the OG TAS series, telepaths were made to be quite underpowered.
The stuff Jean's able to do in '97 does a way better job showcasing what she's always been able to do.
Juggernaut got off easy in that episode's case from the TAS. Even she says it'll wear off (and upon his next appearance, Cain's back to his old antics).
