With GameFAQs new rules of deleting the entire Current Board board (as well as multiple political topics) and even hornyposting (aka all those Waifu threads)

Are you staying on this dying site on its last legs? or are you moving to one of these mainstream sites?..or lost it all by moving to 4chan?
The official Eggman + Bowser/Ridley/Palutena/Pyra+Mythra/Captain Falcon/Puff. So how was Sonic Frontiers and Pokemon Scarlet/Violet guys? It's Morbin time

Im a boomer who cant move on. I spent a few hours yesterday checking other forums, discord, 4chan, Twitter, Reddit, etc. they all suck but gamefaqs is on its way out so I gotta persist and get used to something else

What an insane decision by the admins. CE is the least toxic politically out of all websites and social media I visit. And this is coming from someone who leans more right than left.

I just visit CE once in a blue moon but other parts of GFaqs more often. So I'm already using it and something else. It's like coming back to an old home town and watching what changed or stayed the same.
I'll tell you something, as soon as my ass hit the seat it was like World War III in my toilet- Vegeta82 on what foods not to mix

I just decided to come back for a little while. Then I'll leave for a long time, maybe even for good. After all there's a high chance I'll get purg'd again given my history and I'd rather not lose access to CE

So if I were to ever log back in after leaving I'd just lurk, I might post more game reviews though

I use the site less and less every year as I get older or more busy with other stuff. I'm on at least once a day for a little bit. I joined the discord recently that I'll use here and there as well. With the new rule in place, I plan to stay regardless mainly to see how it turns out.

it wasn't done by the Gamefaqs admins, it was done by Fandom. The Gamefaqs staff actually opposed the move.

GameFAQs is the only main forum I use

if CE goes down I will probably go to Neogaf or Resetera and maybe the SomethingAwful forums or something like that

So far my online community pipeline has been something like this:

  • Runescape public and friends chats (2007-2009). Oh yeah I posted in the forum too.
  • Newgrounds general/videogames (2009-2013). 3run forum (2010-2012? It closed down without warning).
  • Gamefaqs console n pc boards (2013 to 2018)
  • Oldschool rs discords and public ingame chats (2018 to 2019)
  • Back to gamefaqs console and pc boards (2019 to 2022). Also started lurking audiophile forums which also includes /g/ hpg.
  • Gamefaqs current events (2022 - present)
Wait oh shit I did frequently visit runescape's zezima chat in like 2014-2016 too.

reddit since 2013 mainly lurking specific subs.
Used to lurk in the dreadful bb misc too in highschool but stopped.

I'm gonna stick around current events till it slows down to a crawl. I tend to leave at that point.
