I think the White Sox have a chance to win 40 games this year. I know they are a little behind that pace and everyone is injured for months, but I believe in them.
Why be stupid? Does it make you happy to be stupid?
I'm a major sports fan who follows all the major sports and some other ones but I just can't care about baseball in April. Sure I'll watch Sportscenter just to catch the cool highlights but I largely remain uninvested until the All Star Break. It's just such a long season with so many games.

Cardinals = 7-8 (most likely 7-9 after this game)
Marlins = 3-13
The Marlins are historically awful and have basically already waved the white flag on the season. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are just mediocre and might actually be exceeding expectations considering how bad they were last year and how tough their schedule has been so far.
As usual at this point of the season, just waiting for things to sort themselves out. I don't usually make any assessments before Memorial Day.
As usual at this point of the season, I'm mildly amused at the doomsday predictions and hot takes on social media, 99% of which will look silly in 3 months.
