Maybe
Starfield is a 7/10. Get over it.
First three seasons are so good

There are some good episodes after but it's not the same

Some guys get all the breaks, Some guys do nothing but complain
not really, IMO.

a lot of people say early Family Guy was good, or even great, but it's not something I can agree with.

Ive never been a fan, but a lot of people love it and thats cool
It was great before its first cancellation - never hit those heights again when it came back, and became actively shit not long after.

First few episodes were awesome. The Star Wars parodies were epic (well... the first two anyway). Road to the Multi-verse was one of the best shows of ANYTHING that I've seen. I would still be watching if I had time, so I don't actually know how the quality has been over the last 3-4 years.
I started watching it when it first started airing and loved it. I kinda grew out of it as I got older though.

As an adult I much prefer the humour of a show like KotH which I also started watching from the beginning, but grew to appreciate even more as I got older.
Save for your doomed future
The first three seasons are good, though a hefty dose of nostalgia and my teenage sensibilities probably gives it more credit than it actually deserved. But man I remember being so excited for it coming back and just being incredibly disappointed. And I was still a teenager then, so clearly it wasn't all nostalgia and teenage sensibilities holding it up.

It carried the Cartoon Network for awhile, which made Fox want it back.

The first few seasons are great and up until very recently most of the post-revival seasons are pretty bad. The most recent few seasons are surprisingly better than you'd think with a lot of the humor being reminiscent of jokes and gags you'd see in the Naked Gun movies.
Thanks for reading!
I think Family Guy is alright. It has some funny moments and I've come around on the way it styles itself.

The first several seasons were good, but it fell off after that.
When do we know how long we can break it? Where do we go to have some?

Yes. On a strictly comedic level, prime Family Guy was almost on par with prime Simpsons.

Pretty much.

I didn't realize the show had more than one cancellation.

Anyway, I pretty much agree with everyone else. The first 3 seasons were good, and went downhill after that. Each episode has the same formula of humor, which isn't that funny.

Never liked it. A friend made me watch quite a lot of it, don't think I laughed once.

Pretty much my exact thoughts. When I was younger I rewatched the first 3 seasons so many times

It has good moments, like there are some skits and jokes that I remember very fondly. But on the other hand I can't think of a single episode that I remember what happened

I think it's one of those shows where it was originally novel and entertaining but subsequent episodes/seasons started drawing attention to some of the inherent flaws and repetition in writing.

Yes. American Dad surpassed it a long while ago and had mostly kept it going, too.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.
It started strong, but has become increasingly hit or miss (emphasis on the miss) over the years.

First few seasons are 90% hit. Around season 5 or so, it's more like 60%, then by seasons 10+ it's like 35% hit.

As a cohesive show it's never been particularly good.

They throw tons of "gags" at the wall though and inevitably a fair number of those gags are funny.
First 3 seasons were great
Despite the majority of the opinions online of it being only good for the first 3 seasons Ive honestly enjoyed it all the way through and still find myself enjoying it. There are some absolutely great episodes that crack me up from some of the later seasons.

Some of my favorite episodes are from all over like season 7, 10, 14, whatever. Its always been a good show to me. I have a channel on cable that shows nothing but reruns of Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill and Futurama.

Family Guy gets like a 6 hour block every day. On my off days if there is nothing on or Im killing a couple hours waiting for a movie and dont feel like gaming Ill throw it on while surfing the net and its great. Never fails to draw me in.

I love Family Guy and did from day 1 in 99. It lined up almost perfectly when I got home from the Navy in 1999. That and Futurama. Plus I was still catching Space Ghost Coast to Coast at that time.

That period of 99 to the early 2000s was so good, especially when Adult Swim launched in 2001 and I caught some Space Ghost Coast to Coast stuff I had missed while in the Navy in the 90s and Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law started. And we were a couple seasons into Family Guy and Futurama. I didnt know how good I had it back then.

Most of the top tier comedies (like Family Guy) for me have their own sort of Golden Age, Silver Age, etc. Even a "Silver Age" for these shows is still better than the vast majority of sitcoms.

Pre-cancellation Family Guy was pretty good.
1-3 are like peak Simpsons or Futurama levels of good
Bees
It was good during its initial run. The revival wasn't the same and the success of the show went to Seth's head.

It started out A-tier, maybe even S, and is a solid B now.
Do, or do not. There is no Trumble.
It can be funny, but I always disliked that it relied so much on pop culture references. Its lazy humor that caters to the lowest common denominator yada yada.

Havent watched it in several years but it was always my favorite out of shows like it, South Park, and such.

The first few seasons as a kid were absolutely top tier.

Late 90's/early 2000's were great in general for that type of tv, though. Simpsons was starting to slide but Family Guy and Futurama were there to help.
To/fro from-towards
Family Guy was next level when it first came out

I also was big into Simpsons back then. It's crazy how far down the Simpsons fell off. Massively

Family Guy is at least B level still though which is cool
Its just as iconic as the Simpsons

seeing seasons 4 and 5 after so long remade me remember just how dreadfully padded, edgy, and lame the series got. there were some decent jokes at times but there were too many total bores

the series got aggressively bad soon after, but now it's just incredibly uninteresting and boring
Slow Kids; Fast Animals is probably the funniest thing I can think of.

The first 3 seasons are excellent. Post-cancellation seasons start off good but slowly go downhill. I haven't kept up with it since season 17 so I don't know if it's gotten better since then but it was pretty bad by the time I stopped.
Love is a very beautiful, very intense feeling for a startlingly short period of time.
