Cyric I noticed your Lego Harry Potter guide is still upAnd you can read a few recently-added paragraphs at the top of both of those guides explaining why.

She's moving the goalposts. She's the only one who said "first victims"
Did you add anything about Uncle Toms? Not to my knowledge. Should I have?
"The first" is kind of nebulous and vague. It's not like they had a literal agenda where it was like "get group A first, then get group B, then C etc"And the head F. A. R. T. herself would love a repeat of it, which is why she feels the need to run defense.
Trans were however targeted even before Jews because that was an easier sell to moderates at the time. It was the gateway to Nazism for a lot of people. Trans care had advanced in Germany farther than anywhere else in the world at the time and the Nazis undid it all in a matter of days.
I wonder why shes even so invested in denying that trans people were persecuted in Germany.
Younger me HAD to read her garbage and not any actual good books
Not to my knowledge. Should I have?
For you, the person seeking better fantasy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DiscworldYes Terry Pratchett is great. I have seen TERFs try to claim his work, but something like the ending to Monstrous Regiment just can't be twisted to their liking.
Let it supplant the prep school bullshit with wands.

I wanted to get the Humble Bundle but I had no additional funds at the time to get it. Reading a book on a computer would be weird though.Get the audiobooks if you can. They're fantastic. I read Pratchett in Stephen Briggs' voice.
Well that's what you called trans people that supported Hogwarts Legacy.Tell you what. You go spread that word. See where it gets you.
Well that's what you called trans people that supported Hogwarts Legacy. And we all know you don't really care which is why this tired train is all you have to try to cover for Rowling.

It brought me back to you.So nowhere.
Most Harry Potter fans are ignoring the controversy of Rowling, it doesn't affect their views of the series one way or another, and trying to guilt them into not supporting the series isn't going to happen, so don't try.
At this point there are three groups. Those who gave up on the franchise because of Rowling's personal behavior, those who agree with her and support her more because of it, and the average Harry Potter franchise fan who doesn't care and isn't paying attention. That last third is the largest group and I hold nothing against them.
I'm pretty sure that second group weren't even Harry Potter fans in the first place. That's true for most of them.

Hate to tell ya Rev, but when every post in a thread about someone running cover for nazis is to go at the TC the. You are running cover for that person.
You can try to hide behind semantics like Rowling and her "your source doesn't say they were the first and they didn't destroy all of it" to claim you aren't defending her but when your every action is to derail the topic away from Rowling then defending is exactly what you are doing.
You are free at any moment to ignore/block the TC or hide the thread. Nobody made you run in here and try to derail.
It doesn't fucking matter what I read now. My childhood's now fucking ruined anyway. All the good stuff's now been erased, now I just get to look back and remember being an antisocial friendless autistic piece of garbage who was now transphobic too thanks to this fucking bitch Rowling.
i was not aware there even was trans care at all at the time
were hormones a thing then?
I don't know the history of hormones, but gender affirming surgery was first done in 1930 Berlin.

glad I never got into Harry Potter. JK makes it reeeeeeeal hard to separate the art from the artist...
glad I never got into Harry Potter. JK makes it reeeeeeeal hard to separate the art from the artist...Same here. I've had conversations with TERFs who refuse to believe I'm not lying but I really never felt any desire to read the books or watch the movies. Certainly not going to start now.
I don't know the history of hormones, but gender affirming surgery was first done in 1930 Berlin.Even further back, Chevalier d' Eon who lived through 1720's to 1810 lived more of her life as a woman and multiple cultures have had non-binary gender identities stretching back into the BCs.

I have a hunch if you tried to research hormone therapy you'd probably find a lot of stuff about it being used to "cure" homosexuals between the 20s and 60s
