usually in a way that is, inaccurate, closed-minded, prejudicial, or unfair.Usually doesn't mean always.
bias is a disproportionate weight in favor of or against an idea or thingThis is just rephrasing what I said about pizza and fast food.
Yes, every Republican
Ilhan Omar of all people gets a B ranking?
And that websites makes statements that are very inaccurate
Being anti-genocide is negative to you?
What exactly warrants a grade and what does each grade mean? What is the purpose of this site?
Calculation
Grades are a combination of all legislative action. Each vote, letter, and other legislative action is weighed according to USCPR Actions desired position and outcome.
For votes, a yes vote and a no vote hold the same weight, with a present or no vote counting as half of a yes or no vote. Certain circumstances where a Member provides an explanation for a present vote or absent vote that aligns with USCPR Actions position may also be factored into final considerations.
While signing onto congressional letters are subjected to certain internal factors, USCPR Action believes it is important to include because of their impact on legislative processes and oversight authority. We recognize that some Members of Congress who most align with USCPR Actions priorities may not sign onto a letter but fail to sign onto a letter. As a result, all legislative actions toward letters are the smallest weighted component of the overall grades. Certain letters will be subjected to greater scrutiny or support depending on the subject matter or external entity that is seeking to advance it.
It is important to note that letters and legislation are often developed by special interests groups and pushed by foreign governments, when their interests are directly implicated, especially toward recent legislative actions following October 2023.
I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people are "anti-genocide". However, what you choose label a genocide (such as the current Israel-Palestine conflict) could indicate a bias. The current situation has not, by international law's definition, been labeled a genocide.
There's a section that explains their methodology and scoring.
https://www.uscpraction.org/methodology
It's a genocide.

Buttery is really out here trying to argue that a benign fast food preference is a valid example of biasIs tendency a synonym for bias?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocide_Convention
Article 2 of the Convention defines genocide as:
... any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Article 2
(a) Happened
(b) Happened
(c) Happened
(d) could argue either or.
(e) A large part of the population is children. They want their neighboring countries to take Palestinians.

Is Israel causing excessive civilian casualties in their campaign against Hamas? Maybe, it seems like it based on what Ive seen, but I cant say for certain
too many F grades for that to be unbiased. The median and average is an F. Just shows that the site has an agenda.
The first line of the site isTo be fair, "Does this person support genocide?" tends to be pass/fail
How can you NOT look at that site and know theres a bias
The answer is Yes, not fucking "maybe".
You've left out the most important part under international law: the intent/motiviation behind the killings. That is what separates "genocide" from other types of killing in war. If someone drops a nuclear bomb tomorrow on a country that completely wipes out a certain group, we still wouldn't know whether it was genocide without knowing the intent.There's plenty of evidence that the intent is genocide.
Yeah, just the Democratic party members and those that caucus with them.You don't find that suspicious?
You don't find that suspicious?If the goal is to get people to vote for anti-genocide Democrats having Republicans there would be counter-productive as while an anti-genocide Republican, if they even exist, is better than a regular Republican they still be worse than voting for a low grade Democrat. Double the workload for no benefit.
p sure tc has shilled for the russians who have been waging a genocidal war in ukraineThe Venn Diagram of leftist tankies shilling for Russia and progressives posting rabidly anti-Israel shit incessantly is a god damned circle.
TC, how is Biden gonna get punished if you're voting for him anyway?
p sure tc has shilled for the russians who have been waging a genocidal war in ukraine
p sure you're making shit up.
Lots of people all over the world are anti-genocide and apartheid. That's all people can do in a representative democracy, find the best candidate they can.
So yeah, what exactly is the outcome these pro Palestine/anti Joe Biden people are looking for?
Surely can't be Trump because we all know the Republican opinion on Muslims. They'd fuckin nuke Palestine off the map if they could.
Most Americans believe there should be no ceasefire in Gaza until Hamas surrenders and the hostages are returned home by polling data
Wow, I've never seen so many people I have tagged simultaneously descend on one topic. What a clownshow.
Our U.S. government is the primary funder and enabler behind Israels ongoing mass murder of the Palestinian people.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/f/f513106e.jpgA permanent ceasefire would be some type of pease treaty or whatever. The Biden admin is pushing for a temporary one to get the hostages out and has stated their wish for a 2 state solution after the war.
Are the people who have an issue with this site unfamiliar with the concept of political rating organizations? They're all biased by definition, because bias often comes with interest and expertise or a stake in a specific issue. I doubt you'd categorically reject a NARAL or EFF or Planned Parenthood or Center for American Progress rating."I approve of this websites rating system, you should too!"
All Republicans obviously get an F and can't be pressured. Democrats can get anything from an F to an A, which makes rating them worthwhile, and they can improve or get worse.
This stuff is obvious, you are choosing to pretend not to understand it to deflect from criticism concerning the Israel Palestine conflict.
A Harvard / Harris poll. Could you pick a worse pollster?
Fuck, look at the phrasing they use.
What I want is a lasting ceasefire and the US to stop military aid to Israel. Pretty simple.
I'd rather my tax dollars go to universal healthcare instead of funding a genocide.
