That definitely has some cool potential. I'm guessing as you progress you go back and forth to the future, bringing back more powerful weaponry as things get fixed/improved by your actions.

When it was the guy on his own it was like Army of Darkness. When the Chopper came in it was more like GATE JSDF. Wonder if full fantasy elements get mixed in like that or if it is just "real" world elements time jumbled.

I think the idea for this game came from a right wing argument for why we shouldn't ban assault rifles.

"What if you are driving around in your pick up one day and you are teleported into 9th century Feudal Europe. You are instantly enthralled in their conflict. How are you going to defend yourself then? Lucky you got your legal assault weapon with you to mow down the ancient son of bitches and reign for the rest of your days as a king! It could happen to anyone at any time."

Reminds me of an old game called Darkest of Days I think it was called. It was an FPS where you ran around several famous wars like US Civil War, ww1 and ww2 I think, and the Pompeii eruption for some reason

This actually does sound like it can be a fun concept for another spin-off dragon ball game in general. Let you create a saiyan and do some planet sweeping work for the frieza controlled planet vegeta. Go in, massive battles with the planet's armies, win and get stronger bit by bit. Build up your small team. Gain respect among your fellow saiyans and move up the frieza force ranks.

Eventually you and your whole crew just get dusted by frieza because he'd be paranoid of your growing power, but it'd be a sweet ride up until that point.

I can't imagine the game will run any where close to as smoothly as shown in the trailer. With that many independently moving actors on screen at a time combined with the visual quality and effects that shit is going to choppy as hell.

If they nail the gameplay this is going to be a hit for sure.

It's funny with games. You've got these major studios sinking millions into vague teasers that hype up some epic story and narrative with no idea how it'll play.

Meanwhile you've got games like this from nobodies that immediately show their appeal with a simple to understand concept that looks fun. Will probably make a lot of money from it too.

They said they have it running smoothly on the Steamdeck and that it'll run perfectly fine on the Series S so I'm guessing it's pretty well optimized.

The main dude making the game said his work computer has a 2070 in it and it runs it smoothly.
