and I will refuse to do business with them forever now that they stole $70 from me.That's the platitude they all use, and no one cares when you say that. You're 1 customer, the business will continue without you.
I hope losing thousands of dollars was worth it to them.

I definitely agree. There is no more accountability for when companies make mistakes. The customer just has to deal with it and no customer service rep cares about their job enough.
Customers have always been entitled pricks. Employees are just finally starting to not take the bullshit anymore.Speak it! Customers are jerks.
few thousand dollars here and there starts to add up.
Specially, over the years.
My father is going to be purchasing a lot of product, but not from that dispensary.
Very simple to understand

I think its the pandemic effect.
Everything changed in 2020.
Ill abuse the fuck out of whoever I want
I've worked customer service-oriented jobs since my early 20s, starting in retail, moving to a CS phone position; and getting promoted within that company to a data entry-esque position but I still have to deal with customers. After a while you just get fucking burned out on dealing with entitled assholes. It's one of the biggest reasons I want to get out of my field of work, but I'm discovering it's hard to make a career change when most of your skillset lies in one field & you're in your 30s. That in turn just further lowers morale. I'd imagine it's a pretty common sentiment at this point; you just get tired of faking kissing ass & we're largely not paid enough.
Sums it up nicely. Im in the same boat too. Im gonna be 40 in a few years and I have no idea what to do career-wise. Im living comfortably enough, but Im not so ignorant that Im unaware that this will end up not being sustainable. It sucks.I'm just gonna start ignoring people who don't like me

Thing Is the c word is not a word for white people in general. It means an uncivilized, uneducated white person. If someone called me that, I think I would give them a look of surprise, or laugh, cause I look nothing like a hillbilly. Now, on the other hand, if someone called me the h word, that would sting a little more.
