In one of the movies Lois brought this up and I really started to think about. It is very bad business for Clark to be in the middle of story that he is reporting. Like Peter just gives pictures and JJJ does the rest so I would not think he had any issues .But Superman...Kal-El..Clark..Big Blue. That guy is in trouble.

Peter Parker submitting photos of Spider-Man is the right way to go.

Although in the PS4 game Jameson used those photos to create spin pieces on Spider-Man so Jameson was being unethical there.

With Clark at least, he wants to be a reporter. Like he went to journalism school and everything. It isn't just a cover for his superhero identity.

Peter has definitely outgrown being a photographer several times over but Marvel refuses to let him grow up.

As far as ethics go, reporting on yourself isn't great but for the most part Clark doesn't handle Superman stories and when he needs to report on Superman it's very fact-of-the-matter. Lois on the other hand does a lot of Superman reporting and is fucking married to the man. That's a bigger ethical lapse.

Peter's a bit worse off ethically because he will stage photographs.

Come to think about it so many heroes have dirty hands.

The Flash works with the police while being Flash. So much as I love Flash he still does not follow the rules police do. So that is a questionable.

She-Hulk on the show was just the most unethical lawyer. Like she was so bad.

Dick Grayson- Is a cop sometimes so same deal with Barry. But on the TV show. Good heavens, he was reasonable for so many deaths. And just crimes in general.

The only ethical Superhero is John Stewart, even with his Avian issues.

Clark wouldn't want to anyway. He would much rather be reporting on local drug smugglers or corruption. He wants to be a serious journalist making real change by reporting on actual news, not some guy writing puff pieces about his alter ego.
