Tomodachi LifeWe need another one of these. Super underrated game
I still need to get 100% but honestly, not really looking forward to that. There's a reason why I've only finished that game once.Damn, lol. Luckily, I'm not going for 100% for Metroid games, even the good ones! Going to try to get my fill of each and move on. Other M will not be an exception to that rule for sure.
One of those rare games where nothing about it is good.`
We need another one of these. Super underrated gameI am a little surprised there hasn't been another tbh. Feels like the type of game that would have done really well alongside AC in 2020.
Currently on a Super Metroid run myself. Is wall jumping hard, or do I just suck?It was hard for me too, lmao. I still never really figured it out. I'm sure a video guide would probably explain it quickly and help out, but I tried to avoid wall-jumping as much as possible.
Don't accidentally softlock yourself like I did on my 3rd playthrough.I'll try not to. I heard you can soft lock in Super Metroid, so I made sure I wasn't put in that situation either. If I ended up softlocking at the end of that game, I would have just done the SP edition on the SNES Online that gives you max upgrades and puts you right before the final area with all bosses already registered as defeated.
I guess I should mention, Other M's like the only Metroid game that has a postgame. After the credits you can go back into the game and you get a bit more story and an extra objective. It's mostly just for being able to freely explore (finally) and try to collect everything, but you can miss out on a pretty fun (IM0) bonus boss. 100% isn't required to reach that extra objective and boss, btw. That sounds good. If it's not a 100% objective, I don't mind doing that.
I honestly liked most of Other M. I hated the way you had to shoot missiles, the pixel hunting, the way Adam was portrayed, and what they did to Samus's character, but it was a really fun game for me. I played it through several times and even challenged myself for a low item run. It's certainly the worst mainline Metroid game, but good enough on its own.it was playable, but its such a bad game in so many ways
I love other M!
I had a blast!
Love it!
awesome game, enjoy it TCis your gimmick bad videogame opinions? bc this is at least your second really really bad opinion.

I'm glad future 2D Metroids don't seem to mind including a bit more action influence with the parry mechanic.
