Hmm... is it Don't Fear the Reaper?tbqh, it just might be
Dario G - Sunchymenope, never heard of it
I was gonna do this too lolgood guess, that's pretty similar too, but i don't think it's what i'm thinking of
More Than a Feeling by Boston maybe? That goes into the chorus though
Dancing in the darkno, i was never really into Bruce Springsteen
uh... Echoes?Pink Floyd? no, i think i've only ever actually listened to that song like twice in my life.
Is it this?good song, but no, it's not that one either. i couldn't say for sure that the song i'm thinking of has the same progression or anything as Don't Fear the Reaper, or any similarities at all except for the last note in the guitar solo being sustained throughout a sizable part of the next verse.

Don't fear the reaper, has what's called The iVIIVIVII (Am-G-F-G) Progression, which Stairway to Heaven also has.
This progression is very similar to the Andalusian cadence, or Am-G-F-E, this progression is one of the most popular progressions in classical music going back to the Renaissance.
Limelight does it but not for as long.great song, but not the one
Cities on Flame With Rock and Rollno, i'm almost positive it's not another BOC song
Some weird extended cut of Dont Fear the Reaper in The Ripper game.....no, didn't know this existed until just now, but i looked it up and that game sounds trippy
Was it enough cowbell quell your fever?i dunno, i heard in the news that recently Will Ferrell's son's band was playing a gig and Will came outta nowhere up on stage and lent his bovine percussive talents to the performance... i might have to look that up in order to quell the fever.
Could it have been a Queen song?maybe, if it was one of the well-known ones. i was never really all that into Queen.
i dunno, i heard in the news that recently Will Ferrell's son's band was playing a gig and Will came outta nowhere up on stage and lent his bovine percussive talents to the performance... i might have to look that up in order to quell the fever. They played that video on Jimmy Kimmel the other night .
They played that video on Jimmy Kimmel the other night .oh, nice. i don't watch Jimmy Kimmel. but i think i might see if i can look up that clip.
Try www.reddit.com/r/tipofmytongue They are really good about this stuff.yeah, i might try that
This could be almost literally any song with a guitar solo.uh, not really. i'm talking about a note that is sustained for a sizable amount of time, like halfway into the next verse. not many guitar solos statistically speaking do that.
Sirius into Eye in the Sky?no, sorry, never heard it
