Personally I found the violet exclusives to be better, plus the legendary looks better.

but I chose weedcat cause I didnt like any of the other new grass Pokemon.

Went with violet for better cover legendary and uniform, the exclusives were frosting on top. Weed cat starter because it is so cute.

If I were to get 1 it would be Violet since it's cover Pokemon looks better in motion. It bugs me that the Scarlet one has the wheels like the Violet one does but runs around on its legs instead. That + Dragapult and Mecha Godzilla being a Violet exclusive is also a big reason as well.

Don't know what my starter would be since I'm likely to replace them anyway.

Violet is a better color with a cooler Legendary, and the Fire-type starter is the only one who doesn't have a furry-bait 3rd stage (even though its 1st stage is hideous as fuck).

I got Scarlet because it has better exclusives, better legendary, better professor.

The fire starter is the only one that actually looks like a Pokemon to me, in that I can't actually tell on appearance what it's supposed to be. We have had so many blatant "cat" and "duck" Pokemon already that I'm honestly sick of all of them.
