I had a Lyft driver who was also a private detective.huh i thought social services handled that. but then again you said he was a private investigator
said he did stuff like check people out who filed for disability/were injured on the job to see if things looked honest, or something like that.
I know a few.for what units?
Conan's on TBS every weeknightyou know I googled is Conan a detective and the results I got were for a manga that looked mad sus from the first picture
said he did stuff like check people out who filed for disabilitythese people are pricks and when it's actually legitimate try to catch them in acts that look like they're fine.

these people are pricks and when it's actually legitimate try to catch them in acts that look like they're fine.yea, I assume it's better for them, as far as money goes, to "catch the person in the act"
yea, I assume it's better for them, as far as money goes, to "catch the person in the act"I bet money that the job paints the "suspects" as basically all Frank Gallagher from Shameless.
Every time I see private detectives in movies, I do wonder if there's people wasting their life doing this as "job".If anything, a lot of Detectives just get iced in movies because of the shadowy nature of the job.
Recently like Daniel Craig character in Knives Out.
Every time I see private detectives in movies, I do wonder if there's people wasting their life doing this as "job".I never understand why someone would want to be a private detective. Can't imagine people are going to pay money for a dude who doesn't even have the same powers as a police to do the job that the real police will be doing anyways.

When I was a kid our house got robbed.I was about to say thats awesome but your place got robbed... Did they catch the guy?
They sent a detective and he dusted for prints and everything.
yes, one pulled me out of class to discuss a stolen car.Did you get away with stealing it? o.0
Did you get away with stealing it? o.0i mean, in all fairness it was my car. nothing could really be done about it. i just didnt have my full license and took it. some ballyhoo took place, and a nice detective came to "rap" with me one-on-one about it. i denied it, and i was eventually charged with...nothing.
Detectives do the followup. You see the patrol cops because they're out and about.. patrolling. If a patrol cop's case needs followup the detective handles it. They're usually calling people and setting up interviews with witnesses and stuff. Not as much field work.Ahh bet

Thats wack.
