Every time I see private detectives in movies, I do wonder if there's people wasting their life doing this as "job".
Recently like Daniel Craig character in Knives Out.
If anything, a lot of Detectives just get iced in movies because of the shadowy nature of the job.
Or like Gyllenhaal in Prisoners, they get too attached into it's dark nature. It's a really intriguing line of work but it almost feels like you have to sacrifice your soul due to the shit you'll see.
