Bells, bells, bells!
I got the Chumbawamba album at my birthday party one year, and I definitely remember blasting the song while a bunch of us ran around the house

UFC fighter Forrest Griffin used it as entrance music for his first fight after he lost the light heavyweight title. It was funny as hell.

My sister was a HUGE Britney Spears fan back in the late 90s/early 00s. She got a stereo system for Christmas one year which basically transformed our house into a concert hall any time our parents weren't home.

Any time I hear her (or Mariah Carey or the Spice Girls) I am reminded of the times we'd get home from school and she'd blast their songs while I'd go mind my own business playing on my N64 or something lmao. So in a weird way, that's the most nostalgic of those songs.

Damn is Clint Eastwood really twenty years old

As much as I like music from The Gorillaz, I don't feel any nostalgia for any of the songs listed.

None of those really give me nostalgia, per se.

For me, nostalgia is more of an 80s thing, not a 90s thing.
"Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76
"POwned again." --- blight family
I guess Chumbawumba. I didn't really like the song at all, but it was huge my junior year in high school.
Sisqo, followed by Trapt and The Offspring

Some of those are actually on my playlist and I hear them occasionally, so any nostalgia for them has been long lost.

Trapt

Even though Headstrong was their most popular, I think this song was their best:

All the ones I know give me the same amount of nostalgia.

All the best music was made in the 80's - 2000s. Anything good that comes out now is only from bands that started in that time frame.

This has been my hot take, have a nice day.

Nostalgia-wise? I dunno, NBN is one of my Fave Rap Groups (Jerz!) but that's like one of my least favorite singles by them, but that summer it was played everywhere so either that or Thong Song....

Personally, I like 'Say you will be there' by the Spicys...probably my favorite Guilty Pleasure song

Yeah, it's one of their worst IMO.

The list isn't about best songs. It's about songs that were overplayed 20+ years ago, but don't get overplayed on the radio as much these days, even on nostalgia stations.

Now THAT was a song that was overplayed. You rarely heard "Why don't you get a job?" on the radio, but that song was played to the point that even Offspring fans got tired of it.

Although, if you want to know what my humor was like as a teenager and why I spent a lot of time in the counselor's office, listen to "Beheaded" or "Kill the President" and imagine a 13 year old kid walking into a classroom singing those lyrics while listening to his walkman.
