but feel that I've wronged her.lmao bro its not that deep
lmao bro its not that deepThat's what I thought, it was just a handful of hush puppies. Then when she was texting me this morning wanting the food, I felt awful. lol
I was expecting something a lot worse
its cool lol
They handed me the container and said they brought some hush puppies for her, but since she was gone that I could have them instead .
plus they gave them to me and told me to eat them .
This morning I wake up to texts from her asking what happened to the food that was given to her. I know it's just a silly mistake, but I can't help but feel that I've wronged her.
No you didnt do anything wrong, dont trick yourself into that kind of thinking. It is always morally correct to eat hush puppies.Good to know. :)
It's not a mistake, you are 0% in the wrong. No wrong occurred at all.The thing is that I knew they intended for it to go to her. Sure, they told me to take it since she wasn't here, but I could've easily saved it for her. I honestly didn't expect her to even know anything was given, or to check up on it.
They told you to eat it, you ate it. Case closed, problem solved. It's not as if she was the ONE TRUE OWNER of the food.
I wouldn't even say you're obligated to buy her anything or give her anything to "replace" it. Do it if you want to, but don't do it if you only feel like you have to.
I mean, they gave it to you to eat. So it's fine...Next time something like this happens, it's going in the fridge. I don't care if it goes cold and stale waiting on them.

Or you could text them about it. Like text them that someone brought them food. And maybe they will say you can have it because they won't be in for a couple of days or something...I didn't think of that till after I'd eaten half of them. lol

She was mostly nice about it, but she did kinda call me out for eating her food.

You'd probably live a much happier and healthier life if you stopped being a doormat.I'm doing so much better in this area of my life. It can still be a problem when it comes to stuff like this, but I'm able to stand up for myself so much better now.
were they good?Very.
Realistically, anything deep fried is so much better fresh than leftover that not eating it on the spot would have been a disservice to the food.Yeah, I suppose so.

This is true. I think you yelled at a customer who was being a dick before. Thats progress!Oh, there's been lots since then. I really have no issue with type of stuff any more once they become hostile.
That hotel job seems to be doing wonders for your character. Glad you enjoyed the hush puppiesIn some ways, yes. My social anxiety is way better now, and I found my backbone. However it's still really difficult to deal with being cussed at and insulted so often. So, noticeable improvement to anxiety levels and ability to deal with confrontations better, but steep increase in stress and it makes me feel worse most of the time. I'm just usually mentally exhausted and 2 days off just doesn't give enough recovery time.
