I love metal, rap can be decent but i don't really respect that genre. It glorifies crime too much, tho there are some hidden gems in rap.

Heavy metal hardly has anything about crime or murder in it. - said no one ever.

Its acutally become way more lenient in the past few years normally 90% of the replies are "all rap sux"
I have to wonder why these questions are asked here. Most people here are indifferent at best to rap/hip hop, and a great deal of people vehemently hate it.
I can like some of each.
Used to love rap when i was in my teens most... But now as an adult I really just couldn't care all that much about either.
Heavy metal by far. Heavy Metal is my soul, man. Rap can be okay though.
