I'm not a birth capable woman, so take my opinion with a grain of salt...
First Trimester - Willy Nilly Abortions. You want one, you got one, no questions asked
Second Trimester - You can get an abortion, but you'll be asked if you are sure - and not because of any sacred doodads, but simply because it is a surgical procedure (albeit a minor one), I expect such warnings for getting teeth removed even. The larger fetus size makes it different that just disloging a blastocyte
Third Trimester - At this point it if you haven't already aborted you have missed the boat - but special circumstances will allow an abortion. Special circumstances can include diseases (Cancer/Lupus), death of a family member that, drug addiction and so on and so forth

Fully conscious and developed animals capable of pain and fear are killed all the time for many reasons. Who cares what happens to some fetuses whose brains haven't even developed enough for any of that yet? Why does their species have to mean anything here? What does matter is whether or not the mother wants that thing in her.

I think as a means birth control it's immoral and irresponsible. Actions have consequences. If there are potential health problems for the mother (she could die or something) or baby (it'll have serious defects or die anyway), or if the pregnancy is the product of sexual assault, I can understand aborting it.
At the end of the day though, it's not an issue I personally have a stake in, and I'm neutral legislatively. That's just my opinion.
Ironically, I do support sterilization programs under certain circumstances (like people pumping out tons of kids they can't afford then collecting welfare - sometimes for generations - who may also have children with FAS or who wind up in foster care).

Unless the mother is at a serious health risk due to the pregnancy, all abortions should be banned. There is zero justification for killing another life just because of stupid circumstances like irresponsible sex. Yes, in cases of rape it is very unfortunate, but the child had absolutely nothing to do with how it was conceived. To punish it, and takes its life away, is murder.
