I dont really care what other people do with their money, but this is exactly why lootboxes will never go away.

My coworker swore he wasnt going to buy BF II, said the loot boxes disgusted him, and when EA/Dice removed the loot boxes, he told me that EA learned their lesson with loot boxes

I was thinking about buying it even though I hated EA for the whole debacle because my big group of friends who always play games together has it, eventually those feelings kept me from buying it though and they've already stopped playing it for the most part, lol.

Even without the lootboxes the game is pretty average and shallow, only a few guns for each class and is severely lacking in some iconic hero characters from the Clone wars era. most maps are also clearly imbalanced and favor one side.

The game's a complete joke even without lootboxes. Every class is basically the same and there's no reward for doing well so no one tries.

I would only play it for the campaign, and from what I've heard it's really short and mediocre.

I only surround myself with intelligent, PCMR gamers, so we already wouldn't have touched EA anyway.
I have a signature. Apparently this is important, but I still don't have my secret cool kid decoder ring yet.

I just hate the way that EA takes a name and "reboots" it. They did with with Battlefront, Medal of Honor, SimCity... I guess you can expect "The Sims" soon.

The PS2 Battlefronts were more fun to play.
