I firmly believe that every piece of candy corn in existence was manufactured in 1905 and we still haven't be able to muster the strength to eat the remaining stock.

tbh, the taste does gradually wear thin although it's still pretty tasty throughout. It's kinda the opposite of circus peanuts which taste unbelievable bad at first but then you kinda start to like it and eventually develop a craving that it takes months to kick.
