Is it wrong to own them and make them do whatever we want?

And we sell them, buy them, make them do jobs and tasks, etc. Is this morally wrong or is it alright since we made them and they're not really people anyways?
This is my signature, there are many others like it, but this one is mine.
If you take 110% of what I say seriously then you're gonna have a bad time.
Movies have made me against the idea of sentient AI. Though Futurama makes me want it if they turn out like those robots within my lifetime.

If they follow the laws of robotics, then ok. There's always skynet (known in this timeline as google) to think about but as long as decent fail-safes are built in then bring them on.
Mod me? You don't even know me!
