This is my signature. It exists to keep people from skipping the last line of my posts.
I put down the seat and the lid, so the next person always has to do something (and so nothing can fall into the toilet on accident when it isn't in use).

Both. You use it? Lift it up and put it down(with lid) as required. I will say however most the time I leave it up but that's because there is only me and my dad living here so I don't need to put it down.

I'm a guy & I always sit. I almost never stand, is that strange? LOL, IMO its more efficient to just sit, no aiming needed & if you need to make a #2 your all set as well.

Exactly, that's why I always just sit. No hassle about whether or on the sit is up or down, just leave it down & always sit. Its just more efficient.
