Affirm/Deny?
Just use yes/no like a normal person.
From an airline's POV, if a plane was occupied with only heavily obese passengers, then they would be losing half their seats. While not a pleasant thought, I can see why they would charge for a second seat.
yes. if they literally can't just fit into one seat they should have to buy two.
On the bright side, they'll get two in-flight meals.
They could do like amusement park rides and stick a seat by the gate. If you can't fit in then you need to buy another seat.
Some of them literally turn themselves into victims over it instead of empathizing that they're making another person uncomfortable. They get upset that the person is annoyed by having to share their space. They get annoyed if someone tries to put a physical barrier up so they aren't getting touched by some random persons fat body. It's really bizarre.

The real solution is a row or three of "wide" seats, that cost more.
I would pay for a fatty seat that didn't have any of the other first class amenities.

I hope America implements a fat tax soon.
No, as that's discrimination, forcing only them to buy two seats.
Lol if there's a fat topic, you can bet jen's gonna chime in
Maybe they should give people more room, and get wider seats
So much fat shaming in this topic by fat people who never leave their house.
If your weight causes your body to touch your neighbor on a plane, either planes need bigger seats or certain people need to pay for two seats.
Which is strange, since she's pretty fat herself

So you're persona is a thin Asian gal who eats spicy food? Interesting.
I actually played one of those in a D&D campaign once!
Her name was Zriorica, she was a cleric of the goddess of imagination, and she lasted roughly 2 sessions before the GM quit. Spicy food was her favorite :>
If they are large enough that they are spilling over into the seat beside them.

What would you suggest the person next to this person do, when a full seat was bought, but a stranger is taking up half of it?

Be bumped up to the next class as compensation? But still requiring a person to buy a second seat but nobody else is discrimination.

Why should they get a free upgrade because they got too big to sit in standard sized seats?? Or am I misreading? The person next to them should get a free upgrade? They'll have to start upgrading half the plane with the way the obesity rates are trending.
It's not discrimination and it's not illegal. If you literally can't fit in one seat and you need to two then why shouldn't you have to buy two tickets? You require two seats.
