If I were to wear a watch the band would be a non porous material so it can be washed.

Metal, leather gets sticky. I don't wear watches though.

at least for the sake of this poll. Always tearing my watch straps through work was one of the main reasons I stopped buying watches.
I've never had a watch with a metallic band, but given how paranoid I already am about electrical shocks, I'm glad I never owned one.

Mine's are actually plastic but I would prefer metal. Leather tends to stretch overtime and my sweat would just seep into it.
